FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday's slate features just two games, but there are still plenty of viable plays with cheap salaries to use. Because the player pool is so thin, there are going to be a lot of very similar lineups in play Tuesday.

Tuesday Value Plays

Point Guard

J.J. Barea, DAL, $4,500: Barea was terrific in Game 4 and has quietly been getting it done throughout the series. He's averaging 13.3 points, 7.0 assists, and 4.5 rebounds in the playoffs. Although he'll be in most lineups Tuesday, his price tag and production are too good to pass up.

Shooting Guard

Jamal Crawford, LAC, $4,700: Crawford is the Clippers' most reliable scoring threat off the bench, and that has continued for the most part in the postseason. He's had 17+ FanDuel points in three of the four games of this series, and his price has dropped under $5K. Crawford's importance to the Clippers' rotation guarantees he'll get plenty of run Tuesday, and his playing style means that he's going to get his shots. He should be able to outperform his price tag Tuesday in Game 5.

Small Forward

Al-Farouq Aminu, DAL, $5,100: Aminu finally cracked the starting lineup Sunday and promptly posted a double-double. While that was an eye-opener for a lot of people, Aminu only posted 6.4 more FanDuel points Sunday than he did in Game 3, and he's actually topped 20 FanDuel points in eight of his last 10 games dating back to the regular season. He won't be a sneaky play Tuesday with the two-game slate, but he'll be a solid one for just over $5K.

Other Suggestion: Trevor Ariza, HOU, $6,000

Power Forward

Terrence Jones, HOU, $5,900: Jones was under-utilized Sunday, playing just 18 minutes, but still managed to post 13 points and six rebounds. Although he hasn't come close to matching the 40.8 FanDuel points he dropped in Game 1, he's still a solid play that should reach value in Tuesday's potential closeout game.

Center

Tyson Chandler, DAL, $6,600: The center crop is pretty thin Tuesday, so if you're not going to spend big on DeAndre Jordan or Dwight Howard, Chandler is your guy. He's one of the few reliable rebounders on Dallas' roster and has also scored in double figures in three of the first four games of the Mavericks' series. He's the cheapest viable option at center Tuesday, with a $2,600 dropoff between him and the next highest salaried player (Tiago Splitter).
