With 10 games on the schedule, there's plenty of viable fantasy options to consider for Wednesday's DFS slate. Whether because of a desirable matchup, a high projected over/under or just a personal hot streak, the following players should all be considered to build your lineup around:
GUARDS:
Tyreke Evans, MEM at NY ($7,800): Evans has started the last four games with Mike Conley still sidelined with an Achilles injury. During that stretch with the top unit, he's averaged 18.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 2.4 three-pointers across 32.8 minutes, which includes posting 44.5 and 59.4 FanDuel points in the last two games, respectively. Essentially, he's been on fire of late and with no one else really there to steal his touches, Evans remains a strong play.
Jamal Murray, DEN at NO ($5,400): With Nikola Jokic (ankle) and Paul Millsap (wrist) both sidelined, the Nuggets have needed additional play making ability from their guards in order to make up for some of the offense that was lost. Murray, specifically, has done a fantastic job of doing so and has been scoring a ton of points, with back-to-back showings over the 20-point mark. While Murray didn't do much elsewhere across the box score during the Nuggets' previous contest, he still has that sort of ability, which means he's got great upside for a mid-tier price.
Shaun Livingston, GSW at CHA ($4,300): The Warriors are set to be without Steph Curry (ankle) for at least the next couple weeks, so Livingston was already expected to have an elevated role. However, Patrick McCaw, who started at point guard the last time Curry was hurt, has also been ruled out with a nose injury, so Livingston should get all the minutes he can handle. With a ton of playing time available at point guard and a very low price, Livingston should be one of the best value plays at the point guard position Wednesday.
FORWARDS:
Kevin Durant, GSW at CHA ($10,000): It was mentioned previously that Curry (ankle) is sitting out Wednesday's contest, but the Warriors could also be without Draymond Green (shoulder), who's currently listed as questionable. Whether Green sits out or not, Curry's absence alone boosts Durant's overall usage and he should be relied upon to be more of a creator than usual. That makes Durant one of the better top-tier options to consider building your lineup around, especially considering he's $2,300 cheaper than the top priced guy (Giannis Antetokounmpo).
Ersan Ilyasova, ATL at ORL ($5,300): Ilyasova's addition to this list is also largely due to injuries, as the Hawks are still without the likes of Mike Muscala (ankle), John Collins (shoulder) and Dewayne Dedmon (leg). That's a lot of extra minutes available in the frontcourt and Ilyasova has been solid when given a hefty workload, including a 39.6 FanDuel point showing against the Cavaliers at the end of November.
Dante Cunningham, NOP vs DEN ($4,600):Dante Cunningham will be picking up a third straight start in place of the injured Anthony Davis (groin). Over the last two, he's averaged 9.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist across 23.0 minutes. He saw 32 minutes Monday, which seems like a reasonable workload to expect once again against Denver. The Nuggets have given up the fourth most points to power forwards on the season and third most over the last five games, so at a cheaper price in the upper $4,000s, Cunningham seems like a very strong value play.
CENTERS:
Kevin Love, CLE vs SAC ($8,200): Like Evans, Love is another player who's just been on a hot streak of late, posting over 40 FanDuel points in three of the last four games. He's notched a double-double in six of the last eight games as well and with a very juicy matchup against the Kings, Love should have no trouble doing so again. The Kings give up the sixth most FanDuel points to center and are without their starter in Willie Cauley-Stein, so Love should have the chance to have himself a day.
Robin Lopez, CHI at IND ($5,900): If you're looking to save a little cash and don't want to pay for a DeMarcus Cousins or Love, Lopez could be a solid mid-tier option due to his matchup. The Pacers surprisingly have given up the most FanDuel points to center on the season and have been especially bad over the last five games, so Lopez will get every opportunity to put up some numbers.
