FanDuel Sportsbook: Tuesday NBA Picks

Timberwolves -3 (-112) at Pelicans -- FanDuel, 4:02 PM CT

Minnesota has been one of the best teams against the spread lately, outperforming their number by an average of +9.4 points over the past two weeks. Over that same period, the Pelicans are -0.8 ATS. I also just trust the Wolves more as a team at this point. The Pelicans are bad both offensively and defensively, while the Wolves are a good defensive team and a slightly below-average offensive squad, but they can catch fire any given night with KAT, D-Lo and Anthony Edwards.

Memphis Grizzlies +2.5 vs. Golden State Warriors -- FanDuel Sportsbook, 3:00 PM CT

This isn't exactly in "stone-cold lock" territory for me, but I think the Grizzlies are a little undervalued at home against a Warriors team down one of the single most important defensive pieces in the league. Memphis does have some injury issues of its own -- Steven Adams is questionable; Dillon Brooks is out -- but the Grizzlies haven't missed a beat and clearly want to send a message that they belong in the top-four of the Western Conference. Memphis is 13-6 ATS as an underdog this season, while Golden State is 5-5-1 as a road favorite. The return of Klay Thompson gave the Warriors a nice boost on Sunday, but they still only managed 96 points, and Thompson will likely need a few more games before he's truly settled in.

Golden State at Memphis OVER 221 (-110)FanDuel Sportsbook 1:00 PM

Stephen Curry and Ja Morant's numbers when they face each other are ridiculous. Over the last four meetings, Curry is averaging 41.7 points and 6.5 assists, while Morant is averaging 28.6 points, 5.6 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 3.0 steals in his previous three meetings with the former MVP. Both teams are also set to be without their top defensive players – Draymond Green (calf) and Dillon Brooks (ankle) – so I anticipate the offenses to thrive in this one.
