There are four teams on bye during Week 10, including the Chiefs and Cowboys, which means we won't have some big names at our disposal for DFS purposes. Let's dig into the Sunday FanDuel NFL DFS slate and highlight some of the remaining top players to consider.

The Games

A lot of the focus of NFL DFS picks is on individual players. Skills certainly matter, but finding game environments that are likely to promote a lot of points scored is a way to narrow the focus of our player pool.

There are three games with a total below 40 points and four with at least 48; the favorites with the highest totals include the Bills, Lions and Rams.

Value Options

Davis Mills, HOU vs. JAC ($6,500): Mills will take over at quarterback for the Texans this week with C.J. Stroud (concussion) ruled out. The Jaguars have allowed the third-most most fantasy points to quarterbacks in the league, trailing only the Cowboys and Bengals, who aren't on the slate. For those looking to spend down at quarterback, Mills is a viable tournament option.

Wan'Dale Robinson, NYG at CHI ($6,000): Last week was a vintage performance from Robinson, catching nine of 11 targets, although for only 46 yards. The positive is that he has been targeted at least seven times in four of his last five games. The Giants are thin on playmakers right now, so even if he doesn't get a lot of deep passes, a hefty target share should be coming Robinson's way again.

Other Value Options

QB J.J. McCarthy, MIN vs. BAL ($7,100)
QB Dillon Gabriel, CLE at NYJ ($6,500)
RB Kyle Monangai, CHI vs. NYG ($6,500)
RB Tyrone Tracy Jr., NYG at CHI ($6,300)
RB David Montgomery, DET at WAS ($6,100)
WR Tetairoa McMillan, CAR vs. NO ($6,800)
WR DJ Moore, CHI vs. NYG ($6,400)
WR DeMario Douglas, NE at TB ($5,600)
TE Colston Loveland, CHI vs. NYG ($5,600)
TE David Njoku, CLE at NYJ ($5,000)

Stacks to Consider

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

The Bills scored 31 points when these two teams met in Week 3, and while Josh Allen ($9,200) threw for only 213 yards, he had three touchdowns to go along with 25 rushing yards. His top receiving option in that game was tight end Dalton Kincaid ($6,200), who caught five of six targets for 66 yards and one touchdown.

The Dolphins have given up 27.0 points per game, so the Bills shouldn't have any problems scoring against them again, and they have just one interception for the season. The Bills haven't had anyone emerge at wide receiver, so stacking Kincaid with Allen has the potential to be the correct move for this matchup.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers have dealt with a lot of injuries on defense, and significant reinforcements won't be coming anytime soon. Like the Dolphins, they have just one interception this season, and thgey've allowed the eighth-highest completion rate. That last bit is noteworthy because Matthew Stafford ($8,000) is on pace to tie his career high with his 67.2 percent completion rate this season.

When the Rams and 49ers faced off in Week 5, Stafford dominated with 389 passing yards and three touchdowns. Puka Nacua ($9,900) was one of the beneficiaries of his explosion, catching 10 of 12 targets for 85 yards and one touchdown. Although Nacua suffered a rib injury last week, he is expected to play in this game. This duo comes with significant upside.

Other Stacks to Consider

Buccaneers – Baker Mayfield ($7,900) + Emeka Egbuka ($7,800)
Lions – Jared Goff ($7,800) + Amon-Ra St. Brown ($9,300)
Patriots – Drake Maye ($8,200) + Stefon Diggs ($6,200)

High-Price Heroes

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, SEA vs. ARI ($9,500): The Seahawks dismantled the Commanders in Week 9 and Smith-Njigba came away with another stellar stat line, turning nine targets into eight receptions for 129 yards. That marked his sixth game of the season with at least eight receptions and 100 receiving yards.

When the Seahawks played the Cardinals in Week 4, Smith-Njigba finished with a modest four receptions for 79 yards. He was only targeted five times, which was rare considering he has accounted for 38.0 percent of the Seahawks' targets this season. The expectation is that he is more involved in this rematch, so don't be surprised if he goes over 100 receiving yards again.

Christian McCaffrey, SF vs. LAR ($9,700): The Giants have one of the worst run defenses in the league, and McCaffrey lit them up last week, rushing 28 times for 106 yards and a touchdown while adding five receptions for 67 receiving yards and another score.

He already has 168 rushing attempts and 80 targets through nine games, helping him average 25.4 touches per game. When he played the Rams in Week 5, he had 22 carries and nine targets, totaling 57 rushing yards, eight receptions for 82 receiving yards and one touchdown. McCaffrey has among the highest floors in DFS, regardless of position.

The Smash Spot

James Cook III, BUF at MIA ($9,200): Cook enters Week 10 having recorded at least 108 rushing yards in five of his last seven games. After finishing with 16 rushing touchdowns last year, he has found his way into the end zone seven times this year. One of those came in Week 3 against the Dolphins when he ran 19 times for 108 yards. The Dolphins have given up the third-most rushing yards per game in the league, making Cook difficult to resist.
