Fantasy Football Risers

Quarterback

Joe Flacco

Flacco has been an incredible fantasy producer since joining Cincinnati about a month ago. After a modest debut against Green Bay, he's topped 26.6 fantasy points in each of the last three weeks. Despite playing through a shoulder injury against Chicago, Flacco threw for 470 yards and four touchdowns in one of the best performances of his career. He's thriving by getting the ball out quickly to Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins behind a shaky offensive line. With his combination of experience and elite weapons, Flacco is locked in as a fantasy starter for the foreseeable future.

Running Back

Rico Dowdle

Head coach Dave Canales made the right call by handing Dowdle the starting role over Hubbard, and fantasy managers are reaping the benefits. Dowdle exploded against Green Bay, rushing 25 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns while adding two receptions. His physical running style and nose for the end zone have energized Carolina's offense. With a favorable schedule ahead, Dowdle should be viewed as a solid RB1 moving forward.

Travis Etienne

After a hot start to the season, Etienne's production dipped as the Jaguars shifted their focus toward the passing game. Coming out of the bye, the coaching staff wisely returned to a more balanced approach, featuring Etienne as the offensive centerpiece. He handled 27 touches against Las Vegas for 115 total yards, showing he's still capable of RB2-level output. As long as Jacksonville continues to lean on him, Etienne's fantasy value is trending sharply upward.

Wide Receiver

DJ Moore

Moore's early season inconsistency frustrated fantasy managers, but he's quietly rounding into form. After the Bears' bye, he's logged his best two-game stretch of the year, totaling 162 yards with both a rushing and passing touchdown. Moore's chemistry with the quarterback appears to be improving each week, and Chicago's upcoming schedule is favorable. Expect him to reemerge as a reliable WR3, and possibly a weekly WR2, down the stretch.

Parker Washington

Injuries have impacted Jacksonville's wide receiver corps, and Washington has stepped up in a major way. With multiple teammates missing parts or the entirety of last week's game, he caught eight of nine targets for 90 yards in his most productive game of the season. Washington has shown strong chemistry with Trevor Lawrence and could maintain a steady role while Travis Hunter (and possibly others) are out. While he's not a league-winner, his arrow is definitely pointing up as a useful PPR option.

Tight End

Colston Loveland

Loveland finally broke out after a slow start to the season, catching six passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns against Cincinnati, a performance that capped a steady increase in usage over the last few weeks. While his Week 8 numbers are unlikely to repeat, Loveland has clearly earned a larger role in the offense. He's not yet a reliable starter, but fantasy managers should stash him now before his breakout becomes permanent.

Fantasy Football Fallers

Quarterback

Daniel Jones

Jones has enjoyed a strong season overall, but Week 8 was a major setback from a real-life perspective. After committing only three turnovers in his first eight games, Jones coughed up five against Pittsburgh's relentless defense. When forced off script, he reverted to the same turnover-prone tendencies that plagued his time with the Giants. This could prove to be just a one-week blip, but fantasy managers should be cautious about viewing Jones as a must-start option.

Running Backs

Chuba Hubbard

After serving as a fantasy hero last season, Hubbard's value has collapsed. Rico Dowdle has seized control of the Carolina backfield, leaving Hubbard with a season-low 11 snaps and just five carries for 17 yards last week. Once a dependable flex play, he's now reduced to a bench stash at best. Unless Dowdle suffers an injury, Hubbard's days as a fantasy asset appear numbered.

Alvin Kamara

It's been a remarkable career for Kamara, but his fantasy dominance seems to be fading fast. The veteran is averaging a career-low 3.6 yards per carry and 4.4 yards per catch, while his overall volume has plummeted in recent weeks. In recent games, Kamara is averaging just 7.5 touches and 4.6 PPR points per game. Once a dependable RB2, he's now little more than an emergency depth option in most formats.

Wide Receivers

DK Metcalf

Despite a promising start, Metcalf's production has dropped sharply as the Steelers have shifted their passing game toward tight ends. He's had single-digit PPR points twice in the last three games, including a disappointing two catches for six yards against Indianapolis. Metcalf remains a supremely talented player, but Pittsburgh's offensive approach has capped his ceiling. Unless the team redistributes targets, Metcalf may struggle to deliver consistent fantasy value.

Xavier Worthy

Worthy's season has been underwhelming, and his stock continues to fall with Rashee Rice back. Over the past three games, Worthy is averaging just eight PPR points and has only one touchdown all season. While he still has big-play potential, he's clearly playing second fiddle in Kansas City's passing attack. Until his role expands, Worthy belongs on the flex bubble rather than in fantasy starting lineups.

Tight End

Tucker Kraft

Kraft's breakout season came to an unfortunate end after suffering a torn ACL. Before the injury, he was on pace for over 1,000 yards and had already posted multiple 100-yard performances. His after-the-catch ability made him one of the most exciting young tight ends in football. While his fantasy value for 2025 is now zero, it's worth recognizing the impressive season he put together before going down.

Conclusion

Week 10 brings another wave of opportunity for savvy fantasy managers to buy low and sell high before the playoff push. The names on this list reflect how quickly fortunes can shift in the NFL, from unexpected veterans like Flacco thriving again to proven stars like Kamara fading fast. Staying ahead of these trends can make the difference between contending and collapsing down the stretch.
