NFL Player Props: 49ers vs Panthers Monday Night Football Picks
Week 12 is wrapping up, which means we're in the home stretch of the regular season. The often glorious Thanksgiving Day triple-header is a few days away. That should be filled with family, food, football, and most of all... WINNERS.
But, before we get there, we have one more piece of business to address. Monday Night Madness is upon us with an interesting matchup between Carolina and San Francisco. Not a bad night to absolutely COOK up a same-game parleezy for some extra fazools on Thursday and Black Friday's games.
I do have a play in the chamber for this evening, though. Let's get down to business.

Christian McCaffrey O/U 5.5 receptions
Christian McCaffrey is back on the map in 2025 as an ELITE fantasy producer. If you took the plunge in your drafts to grab an underpriced superstar in the mid-to-late first round, give yourself a big pat on the back. While the injury bug was a cause for concern coming into the season, you gotta' risk it to get the biscuit when it comes to a player of this caliber.
Efficiency doesn't matter in fantasy football when the volume is there. On the ground, Run CMC is only averaging 3.7 yards per carry this year. Nevertheless, he is on pace for 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards. The only RBs to ever do that in a season were Roger Craig, Marshall Faulk, and... Christian McCaffrey.
Additionally, CMC looks like a real candidate to notch his third career 100-catch season. Wow. McCaffrey has been gobbling up a ton of targets this year, whether it's been Brock Purdy or Mac Jones under center. With Purdy back at the helm, the volume should continue on Monday Night.
The Panthers' defense has given up the ninth-most receptions to RBs this season coming into this showdown, so matchup-wise it seems pretty solid. Additionally, I think Carolina keeps this one close despite being 7.5-point dogs, which means game script could be relatively neutral. CMC has six catches in eight of 11 contests. We all know exactly how involved he always is in the pass game, but in case you needed a reminder, CMC is 1st in the NFL (among RBs) in target share, routes run, route participation, yards per route run, and receptions.
I like him to go over in this one against a Carolina defense that doesn't often see a back of his talent.
