Quarterbacks
Russell Wilson, SEA vs. TEN ($7,600)
Wilson is an excellent pivot off the two higher-priced signal-callers referenced in our "Also Consider" section below, as he brings plenty of upside in his own right and hit the ground running with his Week 1 performance against the Colts. Wilson racked up 33 fantasy points in the opener on the strength of four touchdown passes, and he now gets a crack at a Titans defense that was eviscerated for five total TDs by Kyler Murray in Week 1. Wilson has the added benefit of being at home as well, and the Tennessee secondary, already in dire straits, should have a difficult time slowing down Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf consistently.
Teddy Bridgewater, DEN at JAC ($5,800)
Bridgewater makes for an intriguing value option in a very favorable matchup, as he looked to be fully comfortable in his new team's offense in Week 1 against the Giants. Bridgewater managed 264 passing yards against a veteran New York secondary while missing Jerry Jeudy due to injury for part of the game. The Broncos QB could be teed up for even bigger numbers against a Jacksonville defense that made the Texans' Tyrod Taylor look like an All-Pro in Week 1. While Bridgewater will be without his No. 1 wideout, he still has a pair of athletic tight ends and two capable pass-catching running backs to pick up the slack.

Running Backs
Nick Chubb, CLE vs. HOU ($7,100)
Chubb came through nicely with two touchdowns as a recommendation last week, and he's right back in play despite the salary bump in Week 2. Houston was able to force Jacksonville to the air early in Week 1, helping disguise what will likely be one of the league's poorest run defenses again this season. Chubb was limited to 15 carries in Week 1, partly due to game script, but his workload could be heavier in Week 2 if Cleveland has a comfortable lead in the second half. Chubb is primed to comfortably exceed the 20 fantasy points he notched in the opener.
Austin Ekeler, LAC vs. DAL ($6,700)
Surprisingly, Ekeler did not see a target in Week 1 and totaled only 15 carries for 57 yards, but his fantasy day was salvaged with a rushing touchdown. The relatively underwhelming effort could well make him lower-rostered than usual in Week 2, which makes him a viable tournament play in particular, especially at a modest salary. The Cowboys were respectable on run defense against the Buccaneers in Week 1, and the addition of first-round pick Micah Parsons should certainly lead to a notable improvement over last season's porous unit; however, Ekeler is a threat through both the ground and air and should see more involvement in both in what could be a close game, and the Cowboys also will be down DeMarcus Lawrence (foot) and very likely Randy Gregory (COVID-19). It's also worth noting the Cowboys gave up five receptions to Leonard Fournette in the opener, so Ekeler's pass-catching chops could rise to the forefront in this contest.

Wide Receivers
DeAndre Hopkins, ARI vs. MIN ($7,300)
I see no reason to move off Hopkins after he delivered handsomely in Week 1, finishing with 26 fantasy points on the strength of a 6-83-2 line. The sure-handed veteran has excellent chemistry with Kyler Murray and he faces a Vikings secondary that had significant trouble slowing down both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in Week 1. Hopkins saw "only" eight targets in a game Arizona won going away, but he could be much busier Week 2 in a contest that could turn into a shootout given the talent on the Vikings offense.
Tyler Lockett, SEA vs. TEN ($6,200)
As alluded to in Wilson's entry, the Seahawks passing game should enjoy success against the back end of the Titans defense. Lockett makes for an excellent way to gain exposure to that possibility at an affordable salary. The speedster was also in midseason form Week 1, hauling in two touchdowns on four catches for an even 100 yards and 26 fantasy points. While the modest target total is less than ideal, Lockett has a history with Wilson to suggest that figure could shoot up on any given week. Furthermore, Lockett may not need much more opportunity than what he saw last week to deliver a strong return on investment.
Cooper Kupp, LAR at IND ($6,100)
Kupp exploded into the 2021 season with a 7-108-1 line on 10 targets from new quarterback Matthew Stafford in Week 1. The immediate chemistry between the new battery was certainly encouraging from a fantasy perspective and the pair is primed for another solid showing in Week 2. The Colts were victimized by both Lockett and Metcalf for a total of three touchdowns in Week 1, and the secondary has been a weak link at times since the start of least season. Kupp's targets are typically locked in the high single digits irrespective of who's under center, making him a very appealing option at his modest salary.

Tight Ends
George Kittle, SF at PHI ($6,200)
Kittle is going to break out for one of his trademark explosive games sooner rather than later, meaning his salary won't be at this level for long. That makes Week 2 a very good opportunity to jump on the ultra-athletic star, who actually had a solid Week 1 with a 4-78 line on five targets. With the possibility Brandon Aiyuk sees a reduced role again in Week 2, Kittle could have an even bigger role. Moreover, the Eagles gave up a hefty 80-835-9 line to tight ends a year ago, and Kittle certainly has the ability to burn them down the seam a time or two.
Jared Cook, LAC vs. DAL ($4,100)
Cook got his Chargers career off to a strong start with five receptions for 56 yards against Washington in Week 1, a game in which he logged a robust eight targets. The Cowboys linebackers are improved with the addition of Parsons, as noted earlier, but they still gave up an 8-90-2 line to the Bucs' Rob Gronkowski in the opener. Cook can get downfield in a manner similar to Gronk and appears to be set for a solid role in new coordinator Joe Lombardi's offense. Another strong game at his miniscule salary would make Cook one of the better points-per-dollar plays of the slate at tight end.
