The NFL playoffs are getting closer but, if anything, NFL betting might be getting harder to predict.
So RotoWire.com turned to ChatGPT to see what the AI tool would predict the results to be for each game during Week 13 of the NFL season. The program simulated each NFL Week 13 matchup 10 times, producing game scores using NFL rosters as of Nov. 24. RotoWire.com, your source for the best NFL betting promos, then calculated the average margin of victory for each team.

Teams on a bye: None
Take these projections for Thanksgiving Week as seriously or as lightly as you like. Week 13 NFL odds will vary from these projections – oddsmakers have been doing their thing a lot longer than AI has but, hey, they're only human.
Which Week 13 Games Are Too Close To Call?
Once again, AI has given us a surprise.
The
Denver Broncos (9-2) have won eight in a row and lead the AFC West by two games. They are the current No. 2 seed in the conference.
The Washington Commanders (3-8) are one of the most disappointing teams in the league. They are on a six-game losing streak and have been without quarterback Jayden Daniels for about a month because of an elbow injury.
Yet this Sunday night matchup is even in the eyes of AI. Denver at Washington is the only Week 13 matchup that is projected as a 5-5 split after 10 games, according to ChatGPT. At DraftKings Sportsbook and several others, the Broncos are 6.5-point favorites.
The
Commanders were one of the NFL's best stories in 2024-25, when Daniels – the former Heisman Trophy winner out of LSU – led Washington to a 12-5 record and a berth in the NFC Championship Game as a rookie. Daniels easily won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors and his 25 touchdown passes were tied for seventh in a season in franchise history (he also rushed for 891 yards and six TDs).
But Washington's season has gone off the rails with Daniels out. Most of the losses have not been close (the Commanders dropped four in a row by more than 20 points each before a 16-13 overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 16 in Madrid, Spain).
Now Daniels is perhaps overshadowed by another member of the 2024-25 rookie QB class, Bo Nix (above). Nix has led Denver to its longest winning streak since 2012-13, when the Broncos won their final 11 regular-season games. At BetMGM Sportsbook, Denver has +525 odds to win the AFC Championship Game.
Daniels has made progress in recovering and has been practicing, so there is a small chance he could return to the field this week. That might be partly why AI projects the team to split 10 simulated meetings against the red-hot Broncos.
There are seven games this week projected as a 6-4 edge. Perhaps the most intriguing involves the reigning Super Bowl champion
Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles own a slim projected edge over the Chicago Bears in a Black Friday matchup between NFC division leaders with identical 8-3 records. How many folks betting NFL futures saw that coming a few months ago, with the Bears coming off of a 5-12 season in 2024?
Week 13 NFL AI Projections Q&A
Q: How did ChatGPT simulate NFL Week 13 games?
A: RotoWire ran 10 simulations for every Week 13 matchup using ChatGPT, with rosters updated as of Nov. 24, 2025. Each game produced projected scores, a winner, and a calculated average margin of victory (MOV). This allowed us to compare not only who wins most often but also how decisively they win.
Q: Which teams dominated the ChatGPT simulations?
A: There weren't many total dominations projected by ChatGPT for Week 13. The Indianapolis Colts (against the Houston Texans) and Los Angeles Rams (vs. the Carolina Panthers) won eight out of 10 simulated games, according to ChatGPT.
Q: What were the closest or most balanced matchups in the simulations?
A: There were many 6-4 results for Week 13, but the only game projected for a 5-5 split was the Sunday night tilt, the Denver Broncos at the Washington Commanders.
