ANALYSIS
Houston, who hasn't suited up for regular-season action since he appeared in two games with the Cowboys in 2022, has spent training camp competing for a depth role in Tampa Bay's crowded wide receiver corps. The severity of his groin injury remains uncertain, but Houston's next opportunity to appear in preseason action will come Aug. 16 against the Steelers, if healthy.

Houston was a training camp star in 2022 after signing as an undrafted free agent, taking advantage of the opportunities provided by an extremely thin depth chart at wide receiver, but that success didn't carry over into the regular season. A good route runner, Houston may not have the speed or physicality to be a reliable option in the NFL, and Dallas' offseason additions at wideout will make it tough for the 24-year-old to even make the roster.
