Tournament Preview

The Dutch is once again the site for this year's KLM Open. This is the third year in a row for the links-style, undulating course in The Netherlands. The last two years hitting greens and solid putting proved to be the winning factor. A strong field will be teeing it up this week on the relatively short course, where wind is it's primary defense. Recent form and course history will be weighted heavily in guiding this weeks picks.

DraftKings Picks

Chris Wood - $10,600 (25/1)

At 25-to-1, Chris is one of the favorites to win this week, and with good reason. He finished T23 last week at Omega European Masters, with a 66 on Sunday. Wood is ranked 34th on tour in SG: putting and is ranked 61st in SG: approach. He has made the cut both times at The Dutch, including a T9 finish last year.

Andrea Pavan - $9,000 (40/1)

Pavan did not compete the last two years at The Dutch, but this course should fit his game well. He has shown he can contend on link-style courses and has been having a fantastic season. Yes, he did miss the cut last week, but that was following a win at Czech Masters the week prior. He is ranked 7th on tour in SG: approach and 23rd in SG: putting.

Paul Dunne - $8,000 (50/1)

Dunne may be worth taking a look at here. He is coming in off of two missed cuts and has not had great results, since earlier this year. His ownership should be low this week. Paul plays this course well, he was T14 last year and was T16 in 2016. He is a great wind player, and it is only a matter of time before he is gonna strike again. He is also great with the putter, ranking 17th on tour in SG: putting.

Nino Bertasio - $7,600 (66/1)

Nino's good form has returned over the last three tournaments. His highest finish coming last week at Omega European Masters with a T16. He is one to consider when dipping into this lower price range. He is ranked 35th in SG: putting on tour and bombs it off the tee, so he should have some short irons to the green. He missed the cut last year, but was T24 in 2016.
