This article is part of our DraftKings NHL series.
Sunday is a big day for the NFL, but don't overlook the NHL. There are four games on the daily fantasy hockey slate, and here are some players that could really pay off.
GOALIE
Jonathan Quick, LOS vs. NYR ($7,800): Yes, the Kings have been struggling, but that's not going to continue forever. Perhaps being at home against a Rangers team on the road for the second night of a back-to-back will get them back to their winning ways. Even with their issues recently, the Kings have a league-low 2.43 GAA, and Quick has a 2.34 GAA and a .924 save percentage.
CENTER
Logan Couture, SAN at ANA ($6,400): Since returning from injury, Couture has 29 shots on net in his last 10 games. He's also tallied six points in that time. Couture should be able to put a few more pucks on net in this one, as the Ducks have given up 33.5 shots per game. The 28-year-old is also a power-play ace, as he already has 13 points with the extra man in 41 games.
Bo Horvat, VAN at WPG ($5,000): Horvat returns to action Sunday after a lengthy absence due to injury. Before getting hurt, he averaged 3.2 fantasy points per game with 20 points in 28 games. Now he gets to go up against a Jets team playing its second contest in as many days. With Steve Mason hurt, Connor Hellebuyck will either need to start again on zero days of rest, or Michael Hutchinson will be in goal.
WING
James Neal, VKG at CAR ($5,900): Neal already has 20 goals, including three in his last five games. He's also put 133 shots in 45 games, and in his last 10 contests he's tallied 34 shots. The Hurricanes have a 3.00 GAA and are playing their second game in as many nights. That means Scott Darling, who has a .895 save percentage, likely will be tending the net.
Kyle Connor, WPG vs. VAN ($5,700): Connor has had a nice rookie season, as he's registered 15 goals and 13 assists in 41 game. The Canucks are the worst team defensively of those in action Sunday. They have a 3.24 GAA, bottom five in the NHL, and they've given up 32.0 shots on net per game. Vancouver also has the 27th-ranked penalty kill, and Connor has averaged 3:00 per game on the power play.
Tyler Toffoli, LOS vs. NYR ($5,100): Toffoli's gone a few games without a point, but he still has 18 goals this year, and he's averaged 3.3 fantasy points per contest. He'll likely get back to lighting the lamp soon, and in his last three games he's notched 10 shots on net so he's remained active. New York has to play on the road on the second night of a back-to-back, and that could mean Ondrej Pavelec (2.97 GAA) in net.
DEFENSEMEN
Jacob Trouba, WPG vs. VAN ($4,700): Trouba has six points in his last nine games, and he's put 29 shots on net in those games. Overall he has 18 points, and that's with a 2.5 shooting percentage that is the lowest of his career by a sizable margin. He's also blocked 88 shots in 47 games, which means he can add some value defensively. As noted, the Canucks have a 3.24 GAA, and Anders Nilsson (3.57 GAA, .901 save percentage) may get the start Sunday.
Justin Faulk, CAR vs. VGK ($4,500): Faulk has picked it up recently, with five points and 20 shots on net in his last five games. He's also been a power-play weapon all year, with nine points in 46 contests. At home, Vegas has been great, but on the road the Golden Knights have a 3.13 GAA.
