We're back to a loaded slate tonight in the NHL with 11 games to enjoy. With stars like Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, Nikita Kucherov, and Patrick Kane in good spots, we'll need to find some value for our lineups. These players below will help…
Goalie
Pekka Rinne, NSH vs CGY ($8,100): Rinne has been great in his last four starts after a rough start. He's allowed four goals in his last four games, stopping 111 of 115 shots during that span. Nashville plays well at home, at at $8,100, Rinne is a bargain.
Center
Vincent Trocheck, FLA at MTL ($5,400): As long as Trocheck produces at this price, I'm going to continue to plug him in. He has three points (one goal, two assists) and seven shots on goal in his last two games (27 overall). With over 21 minutes of ice time in every game, and time on the top power-play unit, Trocheck will continue to exceed value as long as his price is under $6,000.
Ryan O'Reilly, BUF vs DET ($5,600): Much like Trocheck, O'Reilly has outproduced his salary on most nights and is in a good spot to do so Tuesday. The matchup is ideal — at home against a Red Wings team that has allowed the third most fantasy points to opposing centers. With points in each of his last four games (three goals, three assists), O'Reilly continues to be a staple on the Sabres' second line, top power-play unit, and a cheap pivot off of Jack Eichel.
Wings
Anders Lee, NYI vs ARI ($5,600): With four goals in his last four games, Lee looks to have found the hot stick that saw him hit the 30-goal plateau last season. At $5,600, Lee should provide plenty of value against a Coyotes team that has allowed the fifth most fantasy points to opposing left wingers.
Jason Zucker, MIN vs VAN ($4,400): With the Wild still battered with injuries, Zucker has been productive in plenty of ice time. Zucker is seeing time on the first line and top power-play unit, has six points in six games and has skated over 20 minutes in three straight.
Kailer Yamamoto, EDM at PIT ($4,600): This game will likely be the Connor McDavid vs. Sidney Crosby show, so I wouldn't overlook either of their linemates. Yamamoto has points in three of his last four games and has been shooting the puck a ton.
Defense
Oscar Klefbom, EDM at PIT ($4,800): Klefbom finally earned his first assist of the season two games ago after a brutal start. This is a great spot for him, as the Penguins have allowed by far the most fantasy points to opposing defensemen.
Duncan Keith, CHI at VGK ($5,700): I figured it was only a matter of time before Keith got things figured out, and sure enough, he's done just that over the last four games. Over that span, Keith has points in every game with a total of five assists. He's averaged nearly three shots on goal per game all season, too.
