Goalie
Michal Neuvirth, PHI vs NJD ($7,900): Neuvirth is expected to be between the pipes Tuesday. The 29-year-old has good numbers against the Devils over his career with an 8-3-0 record, 2.13 GAA and .923 save percentage. The Flyers have won four games in a row while the Devils are on the opposite side of that, losing their last four.
Center
Mikko Koivu, MIN vs NYR ($5,500): Koivu has two goals and an assist over his last three games and should produce against a lackluster Rangers defense. Over the last four weeks, the Rangers have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to centers with 19 goals and 19 assists surrendered to the position.
Mathew Barzal, NYI vs CBJ ($6,400): The 20-year-old's incredible season continues as he's now third among centers with 43 assists. The second-liner is averaging 3.55 points per 60 minutes which ranks fifth among players at the position. He's still underpriced considering that there are 18 centers priced higher than Barzal on Tuesday. The Isles are third in the NHL with 3.33 goals per game and have scored 16 goals in their last four games.
Wing
Cam Atkinson, CBJ at NYI ($5,900): In each of his last nine game against the Islanders, the right winger has at least one point in each contest with six goals and five assists over that span. The Connecticut native has a point in five of his last seven games and has averaged 4.4 shots on goal over that stretch. Among all right wingers, Atkinson is sixth averaging 5.62 high-danger chances per 60 minutes.
Anthony Mantha, DET vs ANH ($5,000): The first-round pick in the 2013 draft has three goals in his last two games and has lit the lamp more than anyone on the Red Wings. The Ducks have allowed 10 goals and 15 assists over the last four weeks to right wingers — a 12-game span — and have allowed the second-most fantasy points to the position over that stretch.
Reilly Smith, VGK vs CHI ($6,200): Vegas is second in the NHL with 3.36 goals per game, and Smith has been a crucial part of its success. The Ontario native has 46 points — 16 goals — and 11 points on the power play while averaging 17:56 of ice time and 2:22 with the man advantage. With a point in six of his last seven games — four goals and six assists — Smith comes in on a roll for a home matchup Tuesday.
Defense
Seth Jones, CBJ at NYI ($5,600): Jones is turning into the guy that most expected when he was drafted fourth overall in 2013. Over his last eight games, Jones has six assists, 3.87 shots on goal per game, and north of 25 minutes of ice time on average. The Islanders have allowed a league-high fantasy points (nine goals and 24 assists) to defensemen over the last four weeks.
Matt Dumba, MIN vs NYR ($4,500): The 23-year-old has a point in five of his last six and will look to improve that against the beleaguered Rangers. In their last 12 games, a four-week span, the Rangers have allowed nine goals and 28 assists.
