Goalie
Craig Anderson, OTT at DET ($7,500): The Red Wings are just 8-6-6 at home this season and have averaged 2.66 goals per game, 27th in the NHL. Anderson has two shutouts, one of which came four starts ago. With Detroit not being an offensive powerhouse, I expect a good effort from him Wednesday.
Center
Matt Duchene, OTT at DET ($4,600): Duchene has just one goal in his last seven games as it's been a struggle for him since his move to Ottawa. He does, however, have two goals in his last four games against the Red Wings, a team he saw more often playing in the Western Conference with Colorado. He's skating on the first line and top power-play unit, which should boost his upside Wednesday. He's priced at $4,600 but he's way more talented than that price tag.
Henrik Zetterberg, DET vs OTT ($6,200): The Detroit captain has been chugging along for a long time now in Detroit and has seen a decline in his play. However, he's gotten on the scoresheet with three points in his last two games and is skating on the first line and top power-play unit. The Senators have allowed the third most fantasy points to centers (17 goals, 18 assists) over the last four weeks.
Wing
Jimmy Vesey, NYR vs CHI ($4,300): Vesey has points in four of his last six games and has moved up to the third line and is seeing power-play time of late. The Blackhawks are a bit banged-up right now, especially in net without Corey Crawford. Vesey has averaged over two shots on goal over his last six games and is a good salary-saver Wednesday.
Alex DeBrincat, CHI at NYR ($5,300): DeBrincat has had a great rookie season with 13 goals and 12 assists, including three power-play goals. He has points in two of his last three games and had a goal in his lone matchup with the Rangers this season. At $5,300, DeBrincat's floor is solid, as he's totaled 13 shots on goal over his last four games.
Mike Hoffman, OTT at DET ($6,400): Hoffman hasn't recorded a point in his last five games. As such, he's the cheapest he's been all season and is worth a look in this matchup. Over his last six games against Detroit, he's averaged 3.50 shots on goal while registering four points. On the season, he's averaging 3.38 shots per game, 12th among wingers.
Defense
Mike Green, DET vs OTT ($4,700): Green has four goals and 18 assists on the season and three points in his last five games. He's an offensive-minded defenseman and has averaged 10.29 fantasy points per game. Green has also averaged 2.11 shots on goal per game while seeing upwards of 22 minutes of ice time. The Senators have allowed the fifth most fantasy points to defensemen over their last four weeks.
Jordan Oesterle, CHI at NYR ($3,800): Oesterle has two goals and an assist over his last two games and has averaged 4.3 shots on goal over his last three. The Rangers have allowed 75 points to defensemen in 39 games this season, and with Oesterle skating on the first pairing, he's assured to see at least 20 minutes of ice time Wednesday, as has been the case for the last five games.
