GOALIE
Minnesota Wild, MIN vs. OTT ($14,900): The Wild have been decidedly better at home, as they have a 16-4-4 record and 2.13 GAA in Minnesota (tops in the NHL). Ottawa isn't likely to threaten them much, as they've only averaged 2.73 goals per game.
CENTER
Eric Staal, MIN vs. OTT ($13,000): The Senators are pretty bad offensively, but defensively they are even worse. Ottawa has a team GAA of 3.45, third worst in the NHL. The Sens also have the 28th-ranked penalty kill. Staal had a rebound campaign last season when he joined the Wild, and he's continued that this year with 19 goals and 21 assists in 47 games.
Derek Stepan, ARI vs. NYI ($9,200): The Coyotes and Islanders are two of the worst defensive teams in the NHL, so expect a ton of goals in this matchup. New York has been the more porous of the two, as it has a league-worst team GAA of 3.65. Stepan has seven points in his last nine tilts, and he also has 10 power-play points overall. That bodes well, as the Islanders have the 30th-ranked penalty kill.
WING
Jordan Eberle, NYI at ARI ($11,900): The Islanders have been a high-scoring squad all season, and Eberle has started to join in on the fun. In his last nine games he has 10 points with 29 shots on net. The Coyotes have a 3.42 team GAA, fourth worst in the league, and they also have a .893 team save percentage.
Micheal Ferland, CGY vs. BUF ($11,400): Ferland has nine points in his last seven contests. Overall, he has 19 goals in 45 games, including five on the power play. The Sabres have a team GAA of 3.50, which is second worst in the NHL. In January, their team GAA is a whopping 4.50.
Anthony Mantha, DET at NJD ($10,400): The Devils have some issues in net. Keith Kinkaid is hurt, and Cory Schneider has missed New Jersey's last three games. Even if he returns to the ice in this one, iSchneider posted a 4.13 GAA and a .868 save percentage in his last five contests. That bodes well for Mantha, who leads the Red Wings with 15 goals, including six with the extra man.
DEFENSEMEN
Erik Johnson, COL at TOR ($9,500): Johnson has put a hefty number of shots on net for a defenseman. In 43 games, he's tallied 125 shots, notching seven goals in the process. The 2006 No. 1 pick should have the chance to put a few pucks on target in this one, as Toronto has given up 33.8 shots on average.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson, ARI vs. NYI ($9,200): Ekman-Larsson has tallied eight goals in 48 games while throwing 122 shots on net. He's also averaged 3:19 per game on the power play, notching eight points with the extra man. As previously noted, the Islanders have the 30th-ranked penalty kill. On top on that, they also have a 3.65 team GAA.
