You got an extra hour of sleep Saturday night, so you should be well-rested for Sunday's three-game NHL slate. Here are some players to consider…
GOALIE
New York Islanders, NYI vs. COL ($16,500): With so many teams on the second night of a back-to-back, and with a lot of questionable goalies, the options aren't great. The Islanders haven't exactly excelled in net, but last season Colorado scored a league-low 2.01 goals per game while having a league-worst 3.37 team GAA. They are also on the road on a back-to-back, so Jonathan Bernier will be in goal. If nothing else, the Islanders seem like they have a good chance at picking up the win.
CENTER
Jonathan Toews, CHI vs. MON ($12,900): Both Montreal and Chicago played Satuday, but Montreal is also dealing with an injury to Carey Price. It's possible Charlie Lindgren will be in net for the Habs, and Montreal has struggled defensively even with Price in goal. Toews has four goals and six assists through 14 games, taking 38 shots in the process.
Matt Duchene, COL at NYI ($8,300): With a goal and an assist Saturday, Duchene now has 10 points despite that the fact his minutes are a bit down. Duchene's price is also unexpectedly low, which helps his fantasy value.
WING
Johnny Gaudreau, CGY vs. NJD ($14,900): Gaudreau already has 13 assists in 13 games, and he's got three goals as well. On top of that, he's notched six power-play points. The Devils have a team GAA of 3.08 and they've also allowed a hefty 35.1 shots on net per contest.
Anders Lee, NYI vs. COL ($12,700): Lee has averaged 17.23 fantasy points per game, and he's currently enjoying a seven-game point streak. This comes after a breakout season where he scored 34 goals thanks to playing alongside John Tavares.
Brendan Gallagher, MON at CHI ($9,300): Gallagher has averaged over 15 fantasy points per game this season. He's put 43 shots on net through 14 games, and before their Saturday night game, the Blackhawks had allowed 34.5 shots on goal per contest. Additionally, since Corey Crawford started Saturday, Anton Forsberg will likely be in net for this one.
DEFENSEMEN
Will Butcher, NJD at CGY ($9,500) Butcher has started 64.9 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, most of any Devil. He's also averaged 3:08 on the power play, notching seven power-play points through 12 games.
Brent Seabrook, CHI vs. MON ($9,200): Seabrook's scoring has dried up a bit, but this is a guy who has had at least 35 assists in his last two seasons. He'll likely turn things around, perhaps in this game. Montreal has a team GAA just shy of 4.00, and if Charlie Lindgren is in net, that just helps Seabrook further.
