There are 12 games on DraftKings' NHL Friday slate starting with seven at 4:00 p.m. EST. LA goes across town to play Anaheim, New Jersey plays in Buffalo, Florida hosts Calgary, the Islanders are home to Philadelphia, Vancouver travels to San Jose, Ottawa is in St. Louis, Montreal plays in Vegas, Carolina hosts Winnipeg, Toronto visits Washington, Columbus is home to Pittsburgh, Nashville takes on the Blackhawks in Chicago and Utah heads to Dallas. Below, you'll find suggested options for crafting an effective lineup.
GOALIES
Joseph Woll, TOR at WSH ($7,300): The Leafs have endured goalie issues all season, at least until Woll returned last week. He was outstanding on Wednesday when he turned aside 35 shots in a 2-1 OT win over Columbus. Woll is 2-2-1 with a 2.74 GAA and .914 save percentage overall.
Jake Oettinger, DAL vs. UTAH ($8,000): Oettinger has posted a 10-4-2 record alongside a 2.74 GAA and .900 save percentage. He's also won five of his last six starts and beat Utah last year in a 33-save performance.
VALUE PLAYS
Aliaksei Protas, WSH vs. TOR ($4,300): Protas broke out in 2024-25 with 30 goals and 36 assists. He's currently at six and eight of each, but could produce some scoring on Friday against a Toronto team ranked 29th with a 3.61 GAA against which he managed five points in three meetings last season.
Ivan Demidov, MON at VGK ($4,100): Demidov has been hot of late with a goal (the game-winner in Utah on Wednesday) and four assists during a four-game scoring streak. He's also up to 18 points through 22 games.
FORWARD LINE STACKS
Senators at Blues
Tim Stutzle (C - $6,800), Drake Batherson (W - $5,400), David Perron (W - $2,800)
Ottawa's top line is led by Stutzle with his 11 goals and 12 assists, including a pair of helpers Wednesday versus Vegas. Batherson has notched 21 points from 20 appearances while Perron is at 10. The trio carry a relatively low combined salary and could go off in St. Louis against a club struggling with a 3.58 GAA.
Blackhawks vs. Predators
Connor Bedard (C - $8,200), Tyler Bertuzzi (W - $5,800), Ryan Greene (W - $2,900)
The Blackhawks have been led by Bedard and he's fourth in league scoring with 33 points, including 14 goals. Bertuzzi is second on the team with 20 points while Greene recently joined the lead group and has supplied two goals and four assists.
DEFENSEMEN
Quinn Hughes, VAN at SJ ($7,300): Hughes has been great with two goals and 20 assists in only 19 games, with one and 14 of those coming during his last nine. As long as you can afford him, he should always be in your DFS lineups.
Jake Sanderson, OTT at STL ($5,900): Sanderson has recorded 18 points overall, including a big effort on Wednesday when he scored once and added two assists. He's Ottawa's blueline offensive leader who also quarterbacks their first power play.
