SLATE PREVIEW

FanDuel is offering 12 games for their Friday NHL slate. Anaheim hosts Los Angeles, Buffalo welcomes New Jersey, Calgary travels to Florida, the Islanders are home to Philadelphia, Vancouver knows its way to San Jose, Ottawa goes to St. Louis, Montreal travels to Vegas, Winnipeg is in Carolina, Toronto goes to Washington, Columbus hosts Pittsburgh, Nashville plays in Chicago and Dallas awaits Utah. Below, you'll find suggested options for crafting an effective lineup.

GOALIES

Sergei Bobrovsky, FLA vs. CGY ($7,900): Bobrovsky has had consecutive tough outings where he allowed eight goals in losses to Edmonton and Philadelphia. He'll get a chance to redeem himself on Friday against the league's lowest-scoring team as the Flames are averaging 2.32 goals per game.

Spencer Knight, CHI vs. NSH ($8,000): The Blackhawks have been reeling of late with four straight defeats. Knight has been spectacular for most of the year going 7-5-4 with a 2.47 GAA and .920 save percentage in 16 starts. He'll look turn things around Friday against an anemic Nashville attack that's only generated 2.48 goals per outing.

VALUE PLAYS

Sam Bennett, FLA vs. CGY ($4,900): Bennett has registered five goals and six assists across 23 appearances with two and four from his last five. He also carries plenty of value at this salary.

Ryan Leonard, WSH vs. TOR ($4,400): Leonard has been relatively inconsistent as a rookie, yet still has five goals and six assists - including two game-winners - along with two power-play points. He's got plenty of offensive skills and could do some damage on Friday against a Toronto side that's struggled defensively.

FORWARD LINE STACKS

Stars vs. Mammoth

Roope Hintz (C - $7,000), Jason Robertson (W - $8,100), Tyler Seguin (W - $5,000)

The Stars are doing great this season and have been led by the outstanding play of Robertson. He saw his seven-game goal-scoring streak end on Wednesday, but has also recorded 11 goals and 11 assists over the last 12 outings. Hintz has scored in each of his last three with 19 points on the year. Seguin has also heated up by posting two goals and eight assists from his last 10.

Sharks vs. Canucks

Will Smith (W - $6,200), Macklin Celebrini (C - $7,900), William Eklund (W - $6,100)

Celebrini may only be 19, but the former first-overall selection is already one of the best hockey players at 34 points. His linemates were also taken by the Sharks in the first round with Smith (21 points) going fourth overall in 2023 and Eklund (14 in 20) taken No. 7 two years earlier. This trio is primed to be an elite NHL unit and are worth selecting for DFS on Friday as they'll be hosting a Canucks defense ranked last with a 3.75 GAA.

DEFENSEMEN

Quinn Hughes, VAN at SJ ($6,800): Hughes is running neck-and-neck with Cale Makar as to who's the best offensive defenseman. The latter probably gets the edge, though Hughes continues to excel by notching 22 points from only 19 games, with 15 of those coming in his last nine.

Luke Hughes, NJ at BUF ($5,300): Quinn's brother has also been a force with a goal and six assists during his last eight outings. The younger Hughes also participates on Jersey's second man-advantage, where he's provided four points.
