Top 100 for Standard CBS Head-to-Head Leagues

To no one's surprise, Connor McDavid once again sits atop this ranking list after racking up an absurd 33 goals and 105 points in just 56 games last season en route to his third Art Ross Trophy, his second Hart Memorial Trophy and his third Ted Lindsay Award. There's no reason to expect the 24-year-old phenom to slow down in 2021-22. Nathan MacKinnon is a clear downgrade from McDavid, but both players should surpass the 100-point threshold this season, making him an excellent consolation prize.

Vasilevskiy was once again one of the best netminders in the NHL last year, going 31-10-1 with five shutouts while posting an impressive 2.21 GAA and .925 save percentage in 42 regular-season appearances. The 27-year-old Russian was even better during the playoffs, compiling a 16-7-0 record while maintaining a superb 1.90 GAA and .937 save percentage through 23 contests, leading the Lightning to their second straight Stanley Cup championship. Vasilevskiy's the clear No. 1 fantasy goaltender heading in 2021-22 and is worth a top-10 pick in nearly all formats.

If he can stay healthy, Cale Makar will have a chance to establish himself as the clear-cut No. 1 fantasy defenseman this season. The 2017 first-round pick scored at a point-per-game pace in 2020-21, racking up eight goals and 36 helpers through 44 contests while posting a plus-17 rating and averaging an eye-popping 24:19 of ice time per contest. The UMass-Amherst product thrived as the quarterback of the Avalanche's top power-play unit, racking up four goals
