Tuesday's 11-game slate features some juicy matchups with potential to exploit. Let's explore some of the options…
Goalie
James Reimer, FLA at MON ($25)
Reimer was spectacular in his first start following Roberto Luongo's (hand) placement on injured reserve, allowing just one goal on 42 shots to beat an explosive Washington team. Montreal's offense continues to be completely ineffective, averaging 1.50 goals per game and having not exceeded three goals in any game yet this season. At this low price, Reimer projects to be a steal Tuesday.
Goalie to Avoid
Mike Smith, CGY at NSH ($36)
Smith has been a decently reliable option in the blue paint this season, but Tuesday's matchup could be deadly for him -- Nashville ranks 27th in the NHL with 2.63 goals per game, but that number leaps to 4.67 when the Preds play at Bridgestone Arena, making them the second ranked team in that metric on home ice. Smith's price is too high given the risk.

Center
Aleksander Barkov, FLA at MON ($18)
The Panthers boast two fantastic, underrated centers in Barkov and Vincent Trocheck, who have the same price tag Tuesday, but the former gets the edge here because of the eye-popping 25:28 of ice time he's averaged over the last three contests. The 22-year-old Finn has a major role on the power play and has scored in back-to-back games, so look for him to feast on the struggling Carey Price.
Center to Avoid
Ryan Getzlaf, ANH at PHI ($25)
Getzlaf has seemingly been affected by a lower-body injury for much of the season, missing five games out of a possible seven and notching just two assists thus far. The Ducks' captain is slated to return to the lineup Tuesday, but expecting good production from him on the road against a stout Philadelphia defense is a pretty tall order.
Wing
Anders Lee, NYI vs. ARI ($18)
Lee has been hot lately, netting three goals and adding an assist over the Islanders' last two contests. The 27-year-old is averaging 2.63 shots on goal per game and has a secure place on New York's potent power-play unit, making him a highly intriguing play against a poor Arizona defense that is allowing 4.25 goals per game on average.
Alex Burrows, OTT vs. LA ($11)
Burrows filled in admirably for Bobby Ryan after the latter suffered a broken finger in Saturday's win over Toronto, notching an assist in elevated ice time. With Ryan sidelined, Burrows is slated to fill in on Ottawa's top line and maintain his place with the second power-play unit, making him an excellent value play against a Kings squad that's playing its second game in as many nights.

Wings to Avoid
Max Pacioretty, MON vs. FLA ($25)
Pacioretty and the Canadiens set a new franchise record for shots on goal in a period when they took 30 in the second period of Friday's 6-2 loss to the Ducks. Pacioretty totaled 10 shots for the game but was still unable to find the back of the net. Until the 28-year-old and his team can turn it around (or gets a price reduction), Pacioretty will continue appearing on this list.
James Neal, VGK vs. CHI ($22)
It's been hard to bet against Neal this season, but Tuesday might be a good time — the Golden Knights' leading scorer put up a dud during Saturday's loss to St. Louis and will now have to face Corey Crawford, who has been one of the league's finest keepers. Add in the fact that Vegas is down to its third-string goalie, possibly affecting Neal's plus-minus, and he isn't worth the coin Tuesday.
Defense
Mike Green, DET at BUF ($17)
Green has enjoyed an offensive renaissance to start the campaign, recording 11 points in his first nine games, including four on the power play where he's averaged 2:42 of ice time. The 32-year-old blueliner provides a nice floor and his ceiling should be high, too, against a Buffalo team that has been mediocre on both ends of the ice.
Michael Del Zotto, VAN at MIN ($17)
Del Zotto has taken on more responsibility since coming over to Vancouver in the offseason, manning the Canucks' top defensive pairing and No. 1 power-play unit. The Ontario native hasn't found twine yet, but he's taken 19 shots on goal in his last five games and could help lead an offensive charge against the Wild.
Defensemen to Avoid
John Klingberg, DAL at COL ($20)
Klingberg hasn't recorded a point in three of his last four contests. The Swede wasn't able to solve the (surprisingly) defensively sound Avalanche for a score when they played on Oct. 14, so you probably shouldn't pay top dollar for him Tuesday.
Mark Giordano, CGY at NSH ($19)
As previously noted, succeeding in Nashville is hard for the visitors, so it may prove difficult for Giordano and the rest of the Calgary defensive corps to get anything going on either end of the ice Tuesday. He has a lone assist over his last four games, which isn't likely to improve against the stalwart Pekka Rinne.
