FORWARDS
Pascal Gross, BHA at SOU ($8,800): Gross was rested midweek, but he's expected to return to the starting lineup for Brighton's away matchup against Southampton (with Adam Lallana out). With limited options to choose from on a three-game slate, Gross stands out because he has the highest floor at the position. He's scored at least 11 floor points in eight of nine starts this season with the only exception being the matchup against Manchester City. Mohamed Salah ($12,000) is the most expensive player on the slate by a wide margin. This is the second time we've seen him with a salary over $12,000. It's understandable when you consider that he has 13 goals and eight assists in 14 games. He seems overpriced for his -130 goalscoring odds in an away matchup against Wolves. I wouldn't roster him in cash games, especially since there isn't much for cheap value at the other positions, while there are other expensive options worth spending up for. Elsewhere in the top range, Diogo Jota ($9,500) has scored four goals in his last three games. Both him and Salah make for good GPP options.
Sadio Mane, LIV at WOL ($8,200): Mane has the second-highest goalscoring odds at +135. He's also the cheapest of Liverpool's front three by a considerable margin. They're the biggest favorite and have the highest-implied goal total. Considering the lack of appealing options at forward, he's viable in cash games and looks great for tournaments. You could argue that Dwight McNeil ($7,700) is the better cash-game option based on his floor, which is slightly higher and safer. Burnley are in a rather favorable spot away to Newcastle. When the salaries are that similar, I'd rather sacrifice a few floor points for the type of upside that Mane offers. McNeil has no goals and one assist in 13 appearances this season. Moving on, Chris Wood ($5,000) is priced too cheaply for his relative goalscoring odds. He actually has the fifth-best odds on the slate, only behind Liverpool's front three and Callum Wilson ($7,900).

MIDFIELDERS
James Ward-Prowse, SOU at BHA ($7,700): Ward-Prowse let many people down Wednesday when he was one of the chalkier options on the slate and scored just 6.8 fantasy points. A big reason for the down performance was that he took only one corner kick. Southampton scored in the third minute and early goals are usually bad for players who rely on set pieces for most of their value. He's received a $700 salary increase for Saturday's home matchup against Brighton but is probably still a bit underpriced. He has the highest floor at the position and offers upside based on his dead-ball prowess and penalty-kick responsibility. Keep in mind for GPPs that if he doesn't score or assist, there's a good chance he won't make the winning lineup.
Ashley Westwood, BUR at NEW ($5,400): Westwood will return to the lineup after sitting out midweek due to yellow card accumulation. There aren't many floor options at midfield on this slate and Westwood will take the majority of set pieces with Burnley in a decent spot away to Newcastle. Elsewhere, Jordan Henderson ($6,000) is coming off a goal and assist on Wednesday and with Liverpool being so dominate of late, he actually has somewhat of a floor too. Mohamed Elyounoussi ($4,800) is expected to return to the starting lineup for Southampton's home match against Brighton. He offers goal/assist upside for a cheap salary. Joao Moutinho ($4,200) has shown a seven-point floor this season, but I'd rather avoid a matchup against Liverpool.
DEFENDERS
Trent Alexander-Arnold, LIV at WOL ($9,000): There are plenty of good options at defender and I plan on spending up for at least two of them. Alexander-Arnold is priced at a premium again, but he has the highest floor of any player on the slate and offers considerable upside, as well. He has seven assists in 12 games and is averaging north of 20 fantasy points per game this season. Those are crazy numbers for a defender.
Andrew Robertson, LIV at WOL ($6,600): Robertson's salary has reached a season high after he recorded two assists midweek. He's sent in eight crosses in two of his last three games, as he continues to split set pieces. Considering Liverpool are big favorites and have the highest-implied goal total, him and Alexander-Arnold are the top two options. Otherwise, Matt Ritchie ($5,900) is expected to return to Newcastle's lineup after being suspended on Tuesday due to yellow card accumulation. His role on set pieces would be diminished if Ryan Fraser is also in the lineup. I'd be more likely to consider Ritchie in general if he plays on the wing rather than in a back four. Rayan Ait-Nouri ($5,600) sent in double-digit crosses for the second time in three games. He's scored at least nine floor points in five-straight starts. The matchup against Liverpool is less than appealing, however, and has me preferring the other options in the $5,000 range.
Ryan Fraser, NEW vs. BUR ($5,400): Fraser was subbed off after just 11 minutes Tuesday, as Newcastle needed a center-back to replace Ciaran Clark, who had been shown a red card. Fraser has been given defender eligibility for the first time and the $5,400 salary is too cheap for his role on the wing, considering he's also likely to split set pieces. Newcastle have a favorable matchup against Burnley, as well. Elsewhere in this range, Tariq Lamptey ($5,200) and Marc Cucurella ($5,100) are viable options in an away matchup against Southampton. Lamptey came off the bench to record an assist Wednesday and he's scored at least 8.7 floor points in all three of his starts this season. Cucurella would have a minority role on set pieces if Solomon March isn't in the lineup. Both have open-play upside in their role as wing-backs.
GOALKEEPERS
Alisson Becker, LIV at WOL ($5,800): Liverpool have a 67-percent chance to win and 42-percent chance to keep a clean sheet. Both of those numbers stand out in relation to the slate. I'm more likely to spend up on a goalkeeper when there is only three games to choose from because the impact of a double-digit score is more significant. If you're fading Salah, it makes sense to use some of that extra salary on Alisson.
Nick Pope, BUR at NEW ($4,300): Pope kept a clean sheet against Wolves midweek when he was priced at $4,100. Rostering a cheap keeper against Newcastle is always viable. If you'd rather target saves, Jose Sa ($3,800) should have plenty to make in a tough matchup against Liverpool.
