PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

GOALKEEPER

Luis Robles, NYRB v. DC ($5,600): There are so many ways to go at goalkeeper, but the Red Bulls are probably the safest option. Both Orlando and Montreal are home teams in risky spots, while FC Dallas is also at home but they haven't won a game in their last 10 tries. So, that leaves Brad Guzan and Tyler Deric as the two safest options at goalkeeper outside of Robles.

DEFENDER

Greg Garza, ATL v. PHI ($6,500): Garza's price has soared in recent weeks, but he has continued to hit value even as it rises. He was rested this past Sunday, so he has fresh legs to help him get up the left flank. He has a goal and an assist through his first two games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and it is no surprise, as the stadium has been jam-packed with energy in each of the opening games.

Andraz Struna, NYC at MTL ($4,200): Struna made a wonderful debut for NYC on Saturday. He picked up an assist and swung in four crosses in 71 minutes, which is a good indication of his production rate. He has a European pedigree, and it is encouraging that he subbed out early in Saturday's match because it likely means that he will start again Wednesday.

Daniel Lovitz, MTL v. NYC ($4,200): Lovitz has been starting as a left wingback lately, and while his price has risen a little over the past couple of slates, it is still low enough to allow for him to meet value. He is at home and will play farther up the field than most other defenders.

MIDFIELDER

Ignacio Piatti, MTL v. NYC ($9,200): Piatti has thrived after missing most of July with an injury. He scored seven goals in his last five games, and he bagged a brace on the road against Toronto a week back. He is sure to fire off at least three shots every game, and he is likely to make them count, as he is a very lethal finisher. With Struna possibly starting at right-back for NYC, it could be a difficult task for Piatti, but RJ Allen could play instead, which would be a huge bonus for Piatti.

Sacha Kljestan, NYRB v. DC ($8,100): Kljestan has not had the strongest season, but he is still capable of putting up a big number on D.C. United. He takes all set pieces for New York and is in a very favorable matchup at home against one of the league's worst teams. Look for him to pair up with Bradley Wright-Phillips for an assist, as it is very likely that the Red Bulls score a couple of goals.

Yoshimar Yotun, ORL v. NE ($6,900): Yotun has been taking all of the set pieces for Orlando, and his ability to gain plenty of peripheral stats gives him a high floor. He is playing against a soft defense at home, so he should be a chalk option.

FORWARD

Bradley Wright-Phillips, NYRB v. DC ($8,700): BWP has scored three goals in the last four games, and he now comes up against one of his favorite teams to score against. D.C. United is a main rival of the Red Bulls, and Wright-Phillips already scored against them earlier this season.

Erick Torres, HOU v. LA ($8,200): Cubo is in a great spot Wednesday. The Galaxy have been in shambles, and the Dynamo are a juggernaut at home. He has an incredible supporting cast that give him plenty of chances every game, and there should be extra Wednesday.

Michael Salazar, MTL v. NYC ($4,700): Salazar has been a great utility player for Montreal in the times he has started. He finds a way to score goals and get assists, and if he gets the nod Wednesday he should enjoy a face off against an injured New York City side. Montreal has been playing a 5-3-2 lately, but the formation failed last time out, so head coach Mauro Biello may switch back to a 4-2-3-1, which would give Salazar a place on the right wing. He has three goals and two assists in seven starts and eight appearances off the bench this season.
