Dream11 Fantasy Soccer: Manchester City v. Olympique Lyonnais Preview

This article is part of our Dream11 Fantasy Soccer series.

Game Preview

Manchester City and Olympique Lyon will determine which team will be the last one to join the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League semi-finals, as Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig have already punched their tickets into the tournament's final four. Manchester City got past Real Madrid in the Round of 16 and did it in spectacular fashion, winning both games. Lyon, on the other hand, have been one of the biggest surprises in the competition and arrive into this matchup after eliminating Juventus in the Round of 16. Lyon are clear underdogs ahead of this contest, but Manchester City can't get complacent because the Ligue 1 giants have enough quality – especially in the final meters – to get past any opponent in the world, especially one with a defense as shaky as Manchester City's.

Top Picks

Raheem Sterling, Manchester City: Sterling found the back of the net against Real Madrid earlier this month and he was Man City's most prolific scorer during the 2019-20 Premier League season after notching 20 goals in 33 appearances. Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City: De Bruyne was one of very few players in Europe's top five leagues that notched double-digit goals and assists, as he ended the 2019-20 Premier League season with 13 goals and 20 assists. He's had two goals and three assists over his previous four starts while mounting a whopping 25 chances created over his past three fixtures.
