PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

GOALKEEPER

Hugo Lloris, TOT at APO ($5,000): Tottenham are in a good spot for a clean sheet, and if Lloris keeps the shutout, he will likely save a handful of shots to go along with it. Since Apoel is at home, the team will look to earn a point, and possibly all three against the Spurs, which means they will push forward and take plenty of shots on goal. Apoel will likely have a tough time breaking through Tottenham's back line, and they will fire off desperate shots from distance, which are easy to stop for Lloris.

DEFENDER

Sergio Ramos, RMD at DOR ($7,000): Ramos is the general for Madrid, and so vital to the team's success that his fantasy value is very reliable. He often gets on the end of crosses, and he sometimes even makes runs up the field to join in on the attack. Against Dortmund, Ramos will be forced to do plenty of defensive work in order to slow their explosive attack, which means he will raise his floor with a solid supply of defensive stats.

Caner Erkin, BES vs. RBL ($6,000): Erkin is an attacking left-back, and he is in a great spot Tuesday. RB Leipzig is not going to be a walkover, but at home, Besiktas is expected to earn something from the match. Erkin should swing in plenty of crosses, which gives him a chance of grabbing an assist as well.

Faouzi Ghoulam, NAP v. FEY ($5,500): Ghoulam seems to be too cheap at this price. Feyenoord conceded four goals at home in their first Champions League match, and now the club travels to Napoli, which should be a tall task. Ghoulam takes the set pieces, so his price in this spot is very opportunistic.

MIDFIELDER

Kevin De Bruyne, MCI v. SDK ($11,500): De Bruyne hasn't started off this year like he did last season, but he is in a good enough spot Tuesday to meet or exceed value. The passing stat in FanDuel also contributes to his relatively high floor.

Leroy Sane, MCI v. SDK ($8,000): Sane has been on fire lately. There is no guarantee that he starts, but if he does, he makes for a nice value play. His price is a little bit higher than what you would like, but his form makes him well worth it.

Anderson Talisca, BES v. RBL ($7,500): Talisca is the main man for Besiktas. He has turned into a more attacking player over the years, and he is now involved in most attacking plays for Besiktas. He takes a bunch of set pieces, and he is sure to fire off a few shots every game. He is underpriced and a great value play. The one thing going against him is that he will have to deal with a rested Naby Keita in the Leipzig midfield.

FORWARD

Sergio Aguero, MCI v. SDK ($13.000): Aguero is on fire and at home against an undermatched side. Yes, the price is steep, but if he gets two goals, or even a goal and an assist, he'll meet value.

Harry Kane, TOT at APO ($11,500): Talk about a favorable spot. Even at home, Apoel stands no chance against Spurs. The small club from Cyprus has done well over the years to get to the group stage of the competition, but like always, Spurs should trample them. Kane is an in-form forward for one of the top favorites of the day.

Dries Mertens, NAP v. FEY ($8,500): Mertens should man the center forward position for Napoli, and his price does not reflect that. Napoli should win by more than a goal, and Mertens' style of play gives him a high floor due to his elite playmaking ability and lethal finishing quality. He is in a wonderful position to succeed Tuesday, and all he needs is a goal to meet value.
