Closer Watch

St. Louis Cardinals – Trevor Rosenthal didn't have an easy time of it Thursday afternoon for the Cardinals, but he still managed to close the door against the Reds as he picked up his 32nd save of the year, walking one hitter, allowing one hit and striking out one in the ninth inning.

Los Angeles Dodgers – Kenley Jansen helped protect a two-game lead over the Giants in the National League West Thursday, squeezing through two-thirds of an inning for his 21st save of the year. Jansen wasn't at his best, but managed to pull off the save after letting two inherited runners score after he gave up a double to rookie Maikel Franco. Jansen let one more hitter reach base after Ryan Howard singled, but he got the Dodger defense to help him out to end the game with a double play.

Recommended Pickup

Michael Taylor, OF, Washington Nationals – Everyone loves a player that can hit for power and steal bases, right? Taylor is streaky of course, like most youngsters, although his power and steals potential has not gone unnoticed. In just over 300 at-bats, Taylor has hit the double-digit mark (10 HR and 12 SB) and will continue to show promise over the last two months of the season. Grab Taylor in deeper leagues.

Other Recent Recommendations:Yangervis Solarte, Matt Shoemaker, Jesus Montero, Patrick Corbin, Brandon Phillips, Alex Wilson and Jackie Bradley, Jr.

DraftKings Value Picks

SP: Robbie Ray, ARI ($6,800)
C: Derek Norris, SD ($3,300)
1B: Albert Pujols, LAA ($3,800)
2B: Yangervis Solarte, SD ($3,300)
SS: Francisco Lindor, CLE ($3,600)
3B: Jake Lamb, ARI ($3,700)
OF: Alejandro De Aza ($3,600)
