Recommended Pickup

Brock Holt, 1B, BOS – Holt may have slipped under the radar since his mid-May callup. The Red Sox had been using Holt at third base until bringing Stephen Drew back to the team and shifting Xander Bogaerts to third. No problem for Holt, who is now filling in at first base for Mike Napoli and Mike Carp at first base. Napoli is due back Sunday, but the Red Sox have relied on Holt and Holt has thrived. Holt could move to a part time role, but he could work a timeshare with Drew and Bogaerts if Drew struggles. At the top of the order, Holt is hitting .326/.371/.474 with one home run, three steals and a game with four doubles on June 1. He is a better bet for deep and AL-only leagues.
