Best NBA Bets for Sunday, November 23, 2025

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander over 31.5 total points, -115 @ DraftKings

Gilgeous-Alexander is coming off a 31-point performance against the Jazz on Friday, and the 2024-25 MVP winner hasn't shown signs of slowing down. The star floor general has surpassed the 30-point mark in four of his last five games, averaging 30.0 points, 7.0 assists, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.0 steals during this stretch. He's also scored at least 30 points in nine of his 11 games during November, and he's surpassed the 31.5-point mark four times in that span -- and six times throughout the season. The Trail Blazers won't have their best perimeter defender in Jrue Holiday (calf), and that should boost SGA's chances of having another dominant performance as a scoring threat. The Blazers will be extremely depleted in the backcourt, as they'll also be without Scoot Henderson (hamstring) and Shaedon Sharpe (calf), meaning Gilgeous-Alexander will probably match up against Caleb Love -- a favorable duel for the reigning MVP.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Utah Jazz: Luka Doncic over 41.5 points + assists, -106 @ FanDuel

Another dominant scoring force who has a favorable matchup, Doncic will aim to carry the Lakers to a big win over a Jazz team that's coming off a blowout loss to the Thunder on Friday. The Lakers are rested since they haven't played since Tuesday, and that game was against Utah, a game where Doncic produced 37 points (11-22 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 13-16 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists and four steals across 34 minutes in a 140-126 win for the Lakers. The star floor general has surpassed the mark of 42 (or more) points + assists in four of his eight appearances this month, and it seems the only thing that might prevent Doncic from doing so is the fact that this game might be a blowout, which would limit his involvement in the closing stages of the contest. Doncic is averaging 30.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game throughout the month, and that, coupled with a favorable matchup, could lead to Doncic clearing this line for a third straight appearance.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Phoenix Suns: Over 234.5 total points, -110 @ Caesars

The Spurs have seen 233 total points or more in five of their last seven games, and they've been showing some struggles on the defensive end without the imposing presence of Victor Wembanyama (calf) near the rim. The Suns are also dealing with a fair share of absences, including Jalen Green (hamstring) and Grayson Allen (quadriceps), and Ryan Dunn is questionable due to a wrist problem. With both teams shorthanded in depth, that could lead to more space on the defensive end -- neither the Wembanyama-less Spurs nor the Suns are known for being defensive powerhouses. Three of the Suns' last five games have seen at least 237 total points scored.
