Elite Players
Guards
Cade Cunningham, Pistons
($10,500) at Pacers
Cunningham has appeared in each of Detroit's last two outings following a three-game absence due to a left hip contusion, averaging 27.0 points, 10.0 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game over that span. The star guard continues to stuff the stat sheet, and he should have another strong opportunity to do so Monday night against a Pacers squad that ranks in the bottom third in defensive rating (118.9).
Josh Giddey, Bulls
($9,800) at Pelicans
Giddey is coming off his fourth triple-double on the campaign in Saturday's win over the Wizards, during which he posted 62.0 DK points. The Pelicans rank in the bottom third in opponent points allowed per game (121.4) and defensive rating (119.9) so far this season, so the 23-year-old point guard appears primed for another well-rounded performance.
Forwards/Centers
Nikola Jokic, Nuggets
($13,500) at Grizzlies
Jokic is coming off a 44-point, 13-rebound double-double in Saturday's loss to the Kings, during which he amassed 72.8 DK points. The three-time MVP has racked up two double-doubles and three triple-doubles in his last five outings, averaging 33.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, 10.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest during that span. Additionally, he hasn't totaled fewer than 60 DK points since Nov. 7 (53.3).
Scottie Barnes, Raptors
($8,600) vs. Cavaliers
Barnes has posted at least 35.8 DK points in 13 consecutive contests, averaging 19.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.1 blocks and 1.6 steals per game during that span. The star forward recorded a season-high 65.5 DK points against the Cavaliers on Nov. 13, and more shots will likely fall his way with Barrett sidelined.
Michael Porter, Nets
($8,200) vs. Knicks
Porter remains the clear top option on a rebuilding Nets squad that is hungry for their first home win of the season. The 27-year-old has scored at least 21 points in nine straight games, racking up two double-doubles during that span. Over his last five outings, he has averaged 28.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
Expected Chalk
Donovan Mitchell, Cavaliers
($9,600) at Raptors
The Cavaliers have a lengthy injury report once again, leaving Mitchell with another opportunity to put up sizable numbers. The star shooting guard has logged fewer than 47.8 DK points just once in his last 11 appearances (31.3 on Nov. 19), averaging 32.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game over that stretch.
Mid-Range Money
Bennedict Mathurin, Pacers
($6,700) vs. Pistons
Mathurin remains one of the injury-riddled Pacers' top offensive options and has yet to score fewer than 21 points in a game through five regular-season appearances. Over three outings since an 11-game absence due to a right great toe sprain, the fourth-year wing has averaged 23.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per contest.
Naji Marshall, Mavericks
($5,700) at Heat
With Anthony Davis (calf) expected to remain on the sidelines Monday, Marshall should continue seeing increased playing time. After a lackluster performance in last Monday's loss to Minnesota, the 27-year-old forward has averaged 15.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 54.2 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from downtown in 29.3 minutes per game across his last three outings.
Value Picks
Max Christie, Mavericks
($4,800) at Heat
Christie has been a mainstay in the starting five for the majority of the season and continues to play significant minutes for Dallas. While the 22-year-old has posted fewer than 13 DK points in two of his last four outings, he has also racked up at least 20 in 12 of his 15 starts.
Jalen Smith, Bulls
($4,300) at Pelicans
Nikola Vucevic (knee) was a late addition to the injury report, which is never a good sign for a player's availability. Smith could see an increased role against the Pelicans, but he's a solid value play even if he remains with the second unit. The 25-year-old has posted at least 24.3 DK points in four of his last five games, averaging 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.6 assists in 18.0 minutes per contest during that span.
Tyrese Martin, Nets
($3,700) vs. Knicks
Martin is coming off a season-high 26-point performance in Sunday's loss to the Raptors. He continues to see relatively consistent playing time and has averaged 16.0 points, 3.3 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 22.0 minutes per game in his last four outings.
