Bethune Cookman Wildcats vs Southern Jaguars 
Southern was a team I was on early in the year as a squad that could keep things close in their Power 5 buy games, but their fortunes have changed when not getting a huge amount of points. In fact, the Jags now stand at 1-2 in SWAC play with a home loss to No. 303 PV A&M and a road loss at No. 328 Florida A&M. B-C might be the best team in the SWAC, starting hot with a 2-0 conference record and an undefeated record at home, including a nine-point victory over No. 248 Grambling. The Wildcats have won five of six in this series and have not lost at home to Southern since 2022. I like the value and current form of Bethune as a small home favorite tonight.

Alcorn State Braves at Alabama State Hornets 
Alcorn has won eight of nine in this series and I love the value they have today getting all those points. Yes, the Braves are 2-12, but as with all SWAC teams, you have to look deeper into those results to truly get the make of the team. They are 0-1 against teams in the KenPom 300s, but that loss was a close one at Jackson State to open SWAC play last weekend. They bounced back with a road win over No. 297 Alabama A&M on Saturday and now take on an Alabama State team that has struggled since their upset win at UAB in early November. The Hornets are just 2-3 against teams in the 300s and with Alcorn's recent run in this series, this spread is far too big to not take advantage of.

Nicholls Colonels at McNeese Cowboys 
In what has become a regular occurrence on Mondays, I am again playing against McNeese. Not because they aren't a good team (they are very good) but because I don't think they are quite the same caliber of last few years. Their power ratings, however, haven't caught up, so I'm going to continue to take advantage when the situation is right. Nicholls provides such a situation. After an 0-7 start to the season, the Colonels have ripped off eight wins in their last nine games, including a 7-0 mark in Southland play. McNeese is 6-1, but their last three conference wins (all at home) were by 12, 2, and 12. I'll argue Nicholls is as good or better than all three of those opponents and they will bring it tonight. I'm not sure it will be enough to make a statement win, but I do see this game being close throughout.
