The college football season is barely a month old, and already we've seen several outstanding games and standout performances by players from across the country.

While the sport has been dominated in recent years by star underclassmen who leave early for the NFL, that trend may be changing now that players can make endorsement deals and receive a share of the revenue colleges make from athletics. Those changes, along with the transfer portal, is leading to more seniors taking center stage on the gridiron.

2025 College Football All-Senior Team

With that in mind, RotoWire continues its college football betting analysis by choosing some of the top upperclassmen in college football by creating an All-Senior Team after Week 5. Any senior, redshirt or true, in the Football Bowl Subdivision is eligible.

Facing off against a listless Oklahoma State Cowboys team that has already fired the school's head coach is a great way to get right, which is exactly what Baylor senior QB Sawyer Robertson did on Saturday, hitting 24-of-35 passes for 393 yards and four touchdowns in the Bears' 45-27 rout in Stillwater.

For his efforts, the second-year starter in Waco earns out All-Senior Team QB1 spot in Week 5, with running backs Greg Desrosiers Jr. of Memphis and JMU's Jordan Fuller joining him in our hypothetical backfield in Week 5.

In Desrosiers' case, the senior out of Massachusetts racked up 204 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers' 55-26 demolition of FAU in Baton Rouge Saturday, accounting for much of his rushing stats this season after gaining a scant 58 yards and one touchdown in the team's games against Tennessee-Chattanooga and Arkansas to open the year.

For Fuller, Saturday's 35-10 victory over Georgia Southern in Harrisonburg came on the backs of the New Hampshire native's 137-yard, one touchdown performance, with the senior running back gaining 8.6 yards per carry for the Dukes in Week 5.

Three wideouts, in Emmanuel Henderson Jr. of Kansas, Marshall's Demarcus Lacey and Chris Bell of Louisville, also made the list in Week 5, while tight end Tanner Koziol of Houston rounded out our skill position group offensive this week.

Henderson had 214 yards on five catches with a pair of scores for KU in the teams 37-34 home loss to Cincinnati, while Lacey hauled in finished with 146 yards on 10 catches with two touchdowns in the Thundering Herd's 54-51 double OT loss to Louisiana and Bell added 135 yards on 10 snags with a touchdown in the Cardinals' 34-27 win over Pittsburgh on the road.

Finally, Koziol had 86 yards on six catches with a touchdown in the Cougars' 27-24 OT win over Oregon State in Corvallis, moving Houston to 4-0 for the year ahead of the team's showdown against fellow unbeaten Texas Tech at home this weekend.

In the trenches, tackles Adam Vandervest of Western Michigan and Ole Miss' Jayden Williams, along with guards Emmanuel Pregnon of Oregon and Rutgers' Kwabena Asamoah were joined by Kansas State center Sam Hecht, rounding out our offensive unit in Week 5.

Defensively, the men in the trenches for our All-Senior Team in Week 5 were ends Prince Dorbah of Arizona State and Jatius Geer of South Carolina, along with tackles Clay Patterson of Stanford and UCLA's Gary Smith III.

Dorbah had four tackles and three sacks in ASU's walk-off, 27-24, Friday night win over 24th ranked TCU, while Geer racked up two tackles and a sack for the Gamecocks in a 335-13 home win against Kentucky, while Smith had seven tackles and half a sack for the Bruins in the team's 17-14 road loss to Northwestern.

On the linebacker level, Trent Hendrick of JMU was joined by Louisville's TJ Quinn and Red Murdock of Buffalo in Week 5, with Hendrick making 11 tackles and three sacks for the Dukes, while Quinn added five tackles in the Cardinals' win over Pitt and Murdock managed to have nine tackles in Buffalo's 20-17 home loss to UConn.

In the defensive backfield this week, cornerbacks Jon Johnson of New Mexico and A'Marion McCoy of Boise State were joined by safeties Jakari Foster of Louisiana Tech and Miami (OH)'s Silas Walters, rounding out the unit in Week 5.

Johnson and the Lobos improved to 3-1 for the year over New Mexico State thanks to the senior bringing in four tackles in the 38-20 home win in the first game between the two in-state rivals where both were above .500 since 1992.

McCoy and the Broncos rolled over App State, 47-14, thanks to the senior's two tackles and an interception, while Foster and the Bulldogs routed UTEP, 30-11, behind five tackles and a pick from the senior and Walters and the RedHawks fell to San Diego State, 6-3, despite the fourth year starter making five tackles and hauling in an interception for the MAC program.
