Pakistan vs. South Africa: ICC World Cup Match 30 Preview

Pakistan and South Africa are ready to face off in the 30th match of the 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup in Nottingham on Sunday. Lord's Cricket Ground in London will be used as the venue for the contest, which will be hosting its 62nd ODI on Sunday. Highest team total of 334-4 at the ground in a 50-over contest was registered by England in the match against India in 1975, whereas lowest team total of 107 was registered by South Africa in the match against the home team in 2003. Highest individual score of 138 not out was registered by West Indies' legendary batsman Sir Viv Richards in 1979, whereas best bowling figures of 5-30 was registered by New Zealand's Daniel Vettori in 2004.

The game is do-or-die encounter for the Men in Green who are sitting at the ninth spot on the table with just three points after first five matches. Therefore, Sarfraz Ahmed-led unit will need a win to stay alive in the competition. In the batting department, the team will be relying on the top-three of Fakhar Zaman, Imam Ul-Haq and Babar Azam to score bulk of the runs, whereas on the bowling front, the team will be relying on the likes of Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Shadab Khan to produce timely breakthroughs. After series of lackluster performances, there is at least one change expected in the final eleven where veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik will make way for left-handed batsman Haris
