DraftKings LoL: Thursday Cheat Sheet

Misfits and UoL are both heavy favorites Thursday, but as such are expensive so we need to get creative in our lineup making. It's not really an easy day for the underdogs, but ROCCAT have a better chance of at least taking a game against Misfits than Origen do against UoL.

Top Lane: Alphari (MSF vs. ROC, $6,800)/Vizicsacsi (UoL vs. OG, $7,100)

Both players were impactful in their opening series of the season and offer pretty good value on Thursday. Both teams have a chance to sweep their respective matchups, and as a result, each top laner can play effectively on tanks and carries.

Jungle: KaKAO (MSF vs. ROC , $6,600)/Xerxe (UoL vs. OG, $6,800)

KaKAO seems the more likely of the two to play carry junglers, while Xerxe sticks to more tank and utility focused junglers. Either way they should both be actively involved in their team's victories, as each team has a chance to sweep their opposition.

Middle Lane: PowerOfEvil (MSF vs. ROC, $7,500)

While I'd rather get Exileh, I can't find a way to do it without using two supports in my lineup. So while PowerOfEvil is a slight step down, he was the main carry option for Misfits in their series last week, a role I would assume he carries over into Thursday's action. With ADC's focusing on utility roles, mid laners are the priority focus when constructing lineups.

ADC: Hjarnan (ROC vs. MSF, $6,500)

We can't pay up for Misfits and UoL everywhere, so I'm taking a shot with the ROCCAT bottom lane. Paying down for ADC's in general seems like a decent idea at the moment due to the more utility-focused style marksmen have been playing thus far. Hjarnan used to be a top tier option in the EU LCS and perhaps ROCCAT can sneak a game off of Misifts like Giants did a week ago.

Support: Wadid (ROC vs. MSF, $4,700)

Wadid wants to be a playmaker, but struggled against G2 last week. That's understandable given that he faced off against the best team in Europe in his first matchup. He's cheap and could have 10+ assists upside if ROCCAT can pick up a game in this series.

Team: ROC vs. MSF ($4,000)

I don't love using ROCCAT here, but there's no way to pay up for your team spot without crippling the rest of your lineup. They have a better chance than Origen of picking up a win, but chances are slim for them to take the series.
