On paper today looks like an excellent round of games in the NA LCS. TSM, C9, and IMT come in as heavy favorites, but each play teams that have the potential to cause some upsets. CLG and nV looks like a bit of a coin flip, but my money's on CLG after rebounding against Echo Fox yesterday. nV have been a terrific team during the early portion of the season, but remember they were facing some of the worst teams in the NA LCS the first two weeks.
Top Lane: Darshan (CLG vs. nV, $7,300)
Darshan is the fourth highest salaried top laner today and although his matchup isn't as clear cut as the top three, I like his upside at this low salary. Paying for his carry potential at only $7,300 allows you to fit some of the best plays of the day into your lineup today.
Jungle: Reignover (IMT vs. FOX, $8,000)
He's the top priced jungler, but for good reason. Echo Fox are playing pretty well this split, but I'd expect Immortals to win this series pretty handily. Reignover is always involved in the action and should be one of the highest scoring junglers, justifying his price tag.
Middle Lane: Bjergsen (TSM vs. NRG, $8,000)
TSM is rolling so far this season and face off against an NRG team that is looking for consistency. GBM is good when he's on, but tends to go anonymous in some games if his team falls behind. Bjergsen is back to full potential this split and should enjoy an excellent series today.
ADC: Doublelift (TSM vs. NRG, $8,400)
Likewise, Doublelift is also in an excellent spot to score a ton of fantasy points. Using a cheap top laner and support allows you to pay up for the highest priced salary of any player today. Doublelift is playing well with new support Biofrost and I see no reason why he won't have another big series today. I'm also using WildTurtle in my flex role against Echo Fox.
Support: Aphromoo (CLG vs. nV, $6,900)
Hello bargain my old friend. It's not often you see players priced below $7,000 on AlphaDraft and especially a player of Aphro's quality. Could be a close matchup, but using Aphromoo at this cheap salary allows you to pay up for some of the best options in other roles and Aphro certainly has the quality to end up with 10+ assists in every game played.
Team: CLG vs. nV ($3,500)
I think CLG will win this series and at this cheap price using them helps you pay up for the big carries on the day. Like I said in the open nV played well coming into this week, but against some of the bottom teams in the NA LCS.
