NFL Injury Report Friday Updates: Rice Ruled Out, London Looking Good

Hotspots on this week's NFL injury report include Kansas City's offense and defense, Pittsburgh's defense, Detroit's secondary, and Arizona's offensive line and secondary.

Make sure to keep up with NFL breaking news throughout the weekend, especially Sunday morning when inactive lists are released at 11:30 a.m. ET for the early games.

Below you'll find four different categories, with our lists including key offensive linemen and defensive players whose absences might impact fantasy decisions. The bottom section, for potential game-day decisions, is sorted by kickoff times. It can be used as a checklist/cheatsheet for Sunday when inactives come out and we need to adjust lineups.

Good to Go 💯

Truly Questionable / Game-Time Decisions 🤔

Players with key fantasy repercussions listed in bold.

Saturday

Jacobs didn't practice this week but said he'll play anyway. Swift also seems likely to play, dealing with the same groin injury that he's largely fought through without suffering a drop-off in performance. The other guys here are tougher to get a read on, but all practiced some during the week and thus appear at least 50/50 for Saturday's showdown.

Early Games

Higgins is in concussion protocol, which means the Bengals should know by Saturday morning/afternoon if he's able to play. I don't think he should play when he's suffered two concussions this season and his team doesn't have a shot at the playoffs, but it seems that's what Higgins and Co. want to do.

Late-Afternoon Games

Chubb was a full practice participant Thursday and Friday, while

Harrison expects to play this week, but his comments almost felt like he was setting the table for disappointment (which is probably what you want to hear if you're starting Michael Wilson).
