This article is part of our FantasyDraft NHL series.
It's a busy Tuesday in the NHL, with 10 games on the slate. Here are some players to consider for daily fantasy purposes…
GOALIE
Colorado Avalanche, COL vs. BUF ($15,900): This isn't so much about the goalies for the Avalanche, but the matchup at hand. The Sabres are 1-8-1 in their last 10 games, and they've lost four in a row. Colorado hasn't been great but is 8-4-1 at home. Additionally, Buffalo has scored 2.07 goals per game, which is the lowest average in the league by a wide margin.
CENTER
Vladislav Namestnikov, TAM vs. NYI ($13,900): Namestnikov hasn't stayed quite as hot as his teammates Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov, but he still has 23 points in 26 games, including nine on the power play. The Islanders will be on the road for the second night of a back-to-back, which will likely mean Thomas Greiss (3.61 GAA, .896 save percentage) in net. It wouldn't be surprising to see Namestnikov pick up the scoring again in this matchup.
Bryan Little, WPG at DET ($9,800): After a somewhat slow start, Little is enjoying a four-game point streak, and he has seven points in his last six contests. He also has six points with the extra man. The Red Wings have a team GAA of 3.30, which is bottom-five in the NHL, and have also given up 32.7 shots on net per contest.
WING
Chris Kreider, NYR at PIT ($12,500): Kreider has tallied five goals in his last five tilts after putting up 28 last year. The Penguins have a 3.21 team GAA, and now Matt Murray is hurt. Tristan Jarry has been impressive so far, but he's a 22-year-old with just seven NHL contests under his belt.
Artemi Panarin, CLM vs NJD ($12,200): Despite a 9.2 shooting percentage well below his career average, Panarin has 20 points, including five in his last four tilts. He's put 76 shots on goal in 27 games while starting 65.1 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone. The Devils have a team GAA of 3.00 and have allowed 33.7 shots on net per game. Panarin should definitely get a few pucks on goal.
Mikko Rantanen, COL vs. BUF ($11,300): In addition to having the fewest goals scored per game, the Sabres have a league-worst 3.44 team GAA. Their goalies have a collective .888 save percentage, and Buffalo is even worse on the road (3.93 team GAA). Rantanen has 21 point through 25 games, including 11 with the extra man. He's averaged 4:18 in power-play time, too, so his success there could definitely continue.
DEFENSEMEN
Mikhail Sergachev, TAM vs. NYI ($9,100): Sergachev has gotten to start 70.8 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, a very high number for a defenseman. It's paid off, as he has 18 points in 26 games, including nine on the power play. He also has a four-game point streak at the moment. As previously noted, the Islanders will be on the second night of a back-to-back and had a team GAA of 3.24 before they gave up four goals to the Panthers on Monday.
Cam Fowler, ANA at VGK ($8,500): Fowler has gotten healthy and has five points in his last eight contests. He's also averaged 3:01 on the power play, notching three points in that time. Vegas has the 26th-ranked penalty kill, which could serve Fowler well. They also have a team GAA of 3.12, and that's with Malcolm Subban having a likely unsustainable .926 save percentage.
