MATCH PREVIEW

Paris Saint-Germain will face Marseille in match day 29 in Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday. The game has greater significance for the visitors, as they sit fourth in the table, just one point above Saint-Etienne. Therefore, anything but a positive result, along with an unfavorable result elsewhere, could jeopardize their standing for next season's UEFA Champions League.

Les Olympiens' form of late will give manager Rudi Garcia a lot of hope going in the match, as they've won five of their last six matches in all competitions.

That being said, PSG have also won five of their last six, though there is less pressure on getting a result, as their league-topping 74 points put them 17 clear of second-place Lille.

Both teams have competed 48 times in the league competition, with PSG winning 27 versus Marseille's 11. Thomas Tuchel's men are on an impressive run of three consecutive wins against their opponents, where they scored eight and conceded none.

PREDICTED LINEUPS

PSG: Areola, Kehrer, Silva, Kimpembe, Meunier, Verratti, Marquinhos, Alves, Bernat, Di Maria, Mbappe

Marseille: Mandanda, Sakai, Caleta-Car, Kamara, Sarr, Ocampos, Sanson, Lopez, Thauvin, Balotelli, Germain

The 24-year-old has represented Les Parisiens in 23 matches in the current league campaign, where he is averaging 2.1 tackles per game, a number which become even more impressive considering his 2.6 clearances. Therefore, Tuchel will be hoping his star defender will live up to the expectations and find a way to stop in-form Mario Balotelli

Florian Thauvin (M): Thauvin is being rated as one of the best in the league in his position and is surely living up to that hype. The 26-year-old is having another outstanding season, as he is the leading scorer with 13 goals while also adding six assists.

Kylian Mbappe (F): Mbappe is being termed as the best young player in the world, and he has shown time and again that he is worth the title. He is the leading scorer, not for just PSG, but in the entire league with 25 goals. Those numbers become even more impressive considering the fact that Mbappe also provided six assists.

Captain pick: Kylian Mbappe

Vice-captain pick: Florian Thauvin
