Looking Back

As expected, Manchester City blasted Aston Villa 4-0 thanks to goals from Sergio Aguero (2), Yaya Toure and Raheem Sterling, while David Silva picked up a pair of assists.

West Ham and Everton played a five-goal thriller, which included a huge performance from Dimitri Payet, who finished with one goal on four shots, one assist, 19 crosses, two fouls drawn and two interceptions, giving him 43 fantasy points on DraftKings.

The talk going into the weekend was all about the North London derby, which finished in a 2-2 draw, while Leicester beat Watford 1-0, giving the Foxes a five-point cushion over Spurs and an eight-point one over Arsenal.

On the flip side, Aston Villa and Newcastle continue to be terrible, losing 4-0 and 3-1 to Man City and Bournemouth, respectively. Villa have allowed 15 goals in their last four matches after beating Norwich 2-0 in Gameweek 25.

Looking Ahead

Because of FA Cup action this weekend, there are only five Premier League matches: three on Saturday, including Norwich City against Manchester City at 7:45 a.m. EST, which is traditionally left out of most guaranteed contests in the States, two more matches Saturday (Bournemouth v. Swansea and Stoke v. Southampton) and then one match Sunday (Aston Villa v. Tottenham) and one Monday (Leicester v. Newcastle). Needless to say, it's pretty ugly.

Spurs got smoked 3-0 by Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League on Thursday, but that doesn't really have much bearing on Sunday's fixture against Aston Villa. Expect plenty of Spurs and Leicester players to be heavily owned in Sunday-Monday DFS slates, while Man City and Bournemouth are the teams to target Saturday.
