PITCHER
Adam Wainwright, STL vs. NYM ($6,900): With a 7.71 ERA over his past five starts, Wainwright is a risky undertaking. However, the Mets hae an underwhelming .307 wOBA and 92 wRC+ in August, and the veteran righty can easily out produce his salary.
Chad Kuhl, PIT at MIL ($6,600): More help in the strikeout department (14.5 strikeout percentage) would help, but it's tough to complain at Kuhl's price. He's held opponents to two earned runs or fewer in each of his past four starts with just four walks, and he grabs a plus-matchup against the Brewers, who have a .310 wOBA and 87 wRC+ against right-handed pitchers this season.
CATCHER
Buster Posey, SF at LAD ($4,000):Ross Stripling has allowed eight runs over his past two outings, including two home runs. At his cap hit, Posey checks out nicely with a .351 wOBA and 126 wRC+ against right-handed pitchers over the past two seasons.
FIRST BASE
Brandon Belt, SF at LAD ($3,900): With a .363 wOBA and 134 wRC+ against right-handed pitchers over the past two years, Belt is an excellent low-priced target against a reeling righty.
SECOND BASE
Rougned Odor, TEX vs. CLE ($4,200): Facing Josh Tomlin (10.02 ERA over his past four starts) is a nice spot for Odor, as he has a .335 wOBA against right-handed arms this season, and he doesn't break the bank.
THIRD BASE
Josh Donaldson, TOR vs. LAA ($5,100): Lock Donaldson in as a high-end option Thursday. He boasts a .395 wOBA and 150 wRC+ against right-handed hurlers this season, and Jered Weaver has served up a .554 slugging percentage and .380 wOBA to righty bats this year.
SHORTSTOP
Brandon Crawford, SF at LAD ($4,400): Continuing the Giants stack, Crawford has the traditional handedness advantage against Ross Stripling, and the shortstop boasts a solid .204 ISO, .335 wOBA and 115 wRC+ against right-handed pitchers over the past two seasons.
OUTFIELD
Mike Trout, LAA at TOR ($4,700): Look for Trout to fly under the radar with a daunting draw against J.A. Happ on Thursday. Still, Trout's price is down, and he has a career .393 wOBA and 157 wRC+ against southpaws.
Matt Kemp, ATL at ARI ($4,300): In another tough matchup, Kemp provides savings and contrarian appeal next to his .406 wOBA and 157 wRC+ against southpaws this season. Robbie Ray hasn't been lights out against right-handed batters (.336 wOBA allowed), either.
Hunter Pence, SF at LAD ($3,700): Checking in at a discount and with a solid .343 wOBA and 122 wRC+ against right-handed pitchers dating back to 2014, Pence is a nice stack option alongside his peers in the heart of the lineup.
