PITCHER
Eduardo Rodriguez, BOS vs. OAK ($7,400): The Athletics sport a .240 wOBA, 24.0 percent strikeout rate and 45 wRC+ against southpaws on the road over the last month, while Rodriguez has scored between 22 and 43 fantasy points in six of his last seven starts. He's posted at least six strikeouts in four of those outings as well and stymied the Blue Jays with a six-inning, eight-strikeout effort in his last start, netting 40 fantasy points.
CATCHER
Kurt Suzuki, ATL at WAS ($3,300): Although Nationals starter Gio Gonzalez has been tough on hitters from both sides of the plate, Suzuki has owned lefties this season, posting a .502 wOBA and .457 ISO, along with a 52.4 percent hard contact rate when facing them on the road. Gonzalez has surrendered all 18 of his homers to righty bats, and a 31.9 percent hard contact rate to them at home. Nationals relievers also have a 7.31 ERA and have allowed a .376 wOBA to righty bats at home in the last 21 days.
FIRST BASE
Yonder Alonso, SEA at TEX ($2,800): Rangers starter Miguel Gonzalez has allowed a .358 wOBA, 5.76 xFIP and 34.5 percent hard contact rate to left-handed hitters, along with a 44.5 percent flyball rate. Alonso has pounded righties for a .375 wOBA, .233 ISO and a 35.9 percent hard contact rate, while also posting a 39.1 percent flyball rate. He also owns a .452 wOBA versus the four-seam fastball, a pitch Gonzalez gives up a .414 wOBA on when throwing. Moreover, Rangers relievers have a 5.95 ERA and have allowed a .324 wOBA to lefty bats at home in the last month.
SECOND BASE
Neil Walker, MIL vs. PIT ($3,000): The switch-hitting Walker has posted a .360 wOBA and 33.5 percent hard contact rate against right-handed pitching, while Pirates starter Gerrit Cole has allowed a .368 wOBA (including 11 homers), 26.2 percent HR/FB rate and 36.6 percent hard contact rate to left-handed hitters on the road. Pirates relievers have a 5.19 ERA and have allowed a .325 wOBA to left-handed hitters on the road in the last month.
THIRD BASE
Evan Longoria, TAM vs. NYY ($3,300): Longoria has a solid track record of success (.385 average) against Yankees starter Sonny Gray, and he owns a .346 wOBA and 39.4 percent hard contact rate against right-handed pitching at Tropicana Field. Gray allows a .316 wOBA to right-handed hitters, and Yankees relievers have a 5.09 ERA and have allowed a .376 wOBA (including five homers) to right-handed hitters on the road in the last 21 days.
SHORTSTOP
Carlos Correa, HOU at LAA ($3,400): Correa boasts a .460 wOBA, .244 ISO, 25.0 percent HR/FB rate and 41.7 percent hard contact rate versus lefties on the road, while Angels starter Andrew Heaney has allowed a .475 wOBA (including 12 homers), a 46.2 percent HR/FB rate and a 56.9 percent hard contact rate to right-handed hitters. Correa also owns a .362 wOBA against the sinker, a pitch that is Heaney's go-to pitch and one that he's surrendered a .558 wOBA on when throwing.
OUTFIELD
Alex Presley, DET at CLE ($2,100): Presley makes for an appealing near-minimum option despite the matchup against Corey Kluber, considering his .368 wOBA versus right-handed pitching on the road. Kluber has been hit hardest by lefty bats, as evidenced by the 24.2 percent line drive rate and 32.1 percent hard contact rate he's surrendered to that handedness.
Chris Young, BOS vs. OAK ($2,200): A's southpaw Sean Manaea has allowed a .354 wOBA (including 10 homers) to righty bats on the road, along with a 38.4 percent hard contact rate. Young boasts .405 wOBA, .233 ISO and 42.9 percent hard contact rate against southpaws at Fenway, while A's relievers have a 5.91 ERA and have allowed a .409 wOBA (including nine homers) to right-handed hitters on the road in the last 21 days.
Mitch Haniger, SEA at TEX ($2,900): Haniger has a .489 average and .573 wOBA over 45 plate appearances in his last 11 games, and a .360 wOBA and 37.1 percent hard contact rate against right-handed pitching overall. Gonzalez has allowed a 5.44 xFIP and 30.7 percent hard contact rate to right-handed hitters, while Rangers relievers have an 8.15 ERA and have allowed a .402 wOBA to righty bats at home in the last 21 days.
