Key MLB Betting Trends and Matchups Analysis
Betting playoff baseball is a completely different animal as you have the best pitching, hitting, bullpens, etc. going against each other. Rotations are no longer lined up like they were in the last round, so we are seeing larger moneylines and totals.
There will be more bullpen games, so it is important to try and piece together what you think each team will do in regards to pitching. This also means the benches will come into play a lot more in a seven-game series.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays Best Bets and Predictions
Game 7 of the 2025 World Series takes place Saturday in Toronto at Rogers Centre. The Blue Jays and Dodgers are tied 3-3 after a 3-1 win Friday by Los Angeles.
RHP Max Scherzer takes the mound for the Blue Jays against Dodgers RHP Shohei Ohtani. Scherzer pitched OK in Game 3 with the long ball being the issue like always. He allowed 12 flyballs to just two ground balls, so I would expect him to allow 1-2 homeruns in Game 7 as well.
On the Dodgers side, they have to start Ohtani because of him being the DH, and I am not sure if he can go more than three innings. The speculation is RHP Tyler Glasnow would be next up after him, then the rest of the Dodgers bullpen. This is where the Jays have the edge in addition to the better offense and defense.
The Dodgers opened as -141 road favorites with a total of 8.0 runs. The moneyline moved to -150 with initial money coming in on the Dodgers.
The Dodgers were -150 road favorites in Game 1, and they lost. In Game 2, they were -143 road favorites, and they won 5-1. In Games 3-5, which was were in Los Angeles, they closed around -190 to -200 home favorites. In Game 6, the Dodgers were -140 road favorites. But, if you look at the Dodgers wins, it was both Yamamoto starts and the 18-inning marathon.
The pricing of this series has been heavily taxed on the Dodgers, and now the value is all on the Jays' side at home 'dogs in Game 7. The Jays lineup is the toughest in baseball, as they do not strikeout, gets walks, and they initiate hard contact consistently. The Dodgers lineup has been struggling all series, and they were VERY lucky to win Game 6 in my opinion.
I am going to go with the team who has played better all season, and in this series, and that's the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 7.
