Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees Betting Picks

  • Alex Bregman over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI (-120) at DraftKings Sportsbook for 1 Unit

Bregman started off this series against the Yankees on a high note, going 3-for-5 with a double and a walk Thursday. Over his last 15 games, Bregman is 18-for-51 (.353) with a .492 OBP, eight RBI and 10 runs scored. He has been terrific on the road the entire season, hitting 11 of his 16 home runs away from Boston. That has helped him generate a .986 OPS on the road, compared to a .864 OPS at home.

Bregman will look to stay hot in a matchup against Max Fried, who has been awful down the stretch. Over his last eight starts, Fried has a 6.80 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP. In six of those starts, he allowed at least six hits. He also walked at least two batters in five of those eight outings. Behind him is a Yankees bullpen that has a 4.24 ERA and 1.31 WHIP this season. Look for Bregman to produce another juicy stat line.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. St. Louis Cardinals Betting Picks

  • Miles Mikolas over 2.5 earned runs allowed (-130) at DraftKings Sportsbook for 1 Unit
  • Brandon Lowe over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI (-135) at DraftKings Sportsbook for 1 Unit

Mikolas has been a different pitcher at home than on the road. In St. Louis, he has a 1.11 WHIP this season vs. a 1.53 WHIP on the road. He has also allowed 2.4 HR/9 on the road, compared to just 0.8 HR/9 at home. That has contributed to him giving up at least five earned runs in each of his last four road starts. The Rays only have a .679 OPS on the road this season, but they have a .739 OPS at home. Mikolas has the potential to give up runs in bunches again in this road matchup.

As we continue to attack Mikolas and his road struggles, Lowe is a hitter to consider. He went 1-for-4 with an RBI against the Cardinals on Thursday and has produced a .888 OPS versus right-handed pitchers this season. He has already hit 24 home runs, 21 of which have come against righties. Another stat working in Lowe's favor is that lefties have a .483 slugging percentage against Mikolas this season. This is a favorable spot for Lowe to come away with at least two combined hits, runs and RBI.
