Handicapping the NBA: Saturday Picks

Can Nikola Vucevic torch the Bulls on back-to-back nights?
Handicapping the NBA: Saturday Picks

Alex Barutha: Nikola Vucevic over 42.5 points+rebounds+assists (-115) vs. CHI -- FanDuel 1:38 PM CT

Vucevic torched the Bulls yesterday for 43 points, 19 rebounds and four assists. While the Bulls now know how Vucevic will attack, I don't think Chicago can stop him. They don't have good enough personnel with Wendell Carter sidelined. On the season, Vucevic is averaging 38.4 combined P+R+A, and I think the bump up is appropriate for this matchup, but not so much that I'd avoid betting it.

Jeff Edgerton: ANDREW WIGGINS OVER 1.5 3 -Pointers (DK Sportsbook, 8:12 a.m. ET)

Wiggins has averaged 5.2 3-point attempts per game this season and connects at a 37 percent clip currently.  He only played 29 minutes on the front end of this back-to-back against Dallas, so he's arguably the freshest man on the floor for the Warriors.

NETS +3 OVER 76ERS (DK Sportsbook, 8:12 a.m. ET)

Vegas isn't expressing much confidence in the Durant-less Nets, but the sixers might also be without marquee man Joel Embiid as well. The Nets will lean on Harden and Irving, and they have a host of playmakers who can help absorb Durant's usage.
