ACC
Desmond Scott, RB, Duke
While Scott didn't do much against Alabama (nine carries, 39 yards) he has 238 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries for the season, and the Crimson Tide aren't on the docket every week.
Keith Payne, RB, Virginia
Payne opened up the season with a huge game against Richmond, but his 57 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries against USC shows he can hold his own against tougher competition.
Big 12
Michael Egnew, TE, Missouri
Egnew opened up the season with 10 catches for 60 yards and a score against Illinois, but it's his 13-catch, 145-yard performance against San Diego State that makes him a must own tight end.
Rex Burkhead, RB, Nebraska
Burkhead might be the third rushing option on the Cornhuskers behind Taylor Martinez and Roy Helu, but this is a team that appears primed to run wild every week, so he should get enough touches to be valuable in deeper leagues.
Big East
Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse
Yes, Nassib's numbers have been greatly boosted by a five-touchdown day against Maine, but on the season he has impressive numbers and has shown the ability to run a bit to support his passing game.
Alec Lemon, WR, Syracuse
Sticking with the Orange's offense, Lemon has 12 catches for 141 yards and three touchdowns this season, and has scored in his last two games.
Big Ten
Dan Persa, QB, Northwestern
Persa's 769 yards, six touchdowns, and no

Big Ten
Dan Persa, QB, Northwestern
Persa's 769 yards, six touchdowns, and no interceptions are impressive enough as is, but the fact that he's completed 81.6 percent of his passes boggles the mind. He's dangerous as a runner, too.
Michael Shaw, RB, Michigan
Shaw had a big game against UMass, rushing for 126 yards and three touchdowns. As defenses start keying more on Denard Robinson, Shaw could see more carries, and thus have more value in a run-heavy offense.
Conference USA
Jonathan Williams, RB, East Carolina
While the Pirates' passing game has been getting the attention, Williams has put together three really good games running the ball this season. Against Virginia Tech, he rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries while also catching seven passes for 37 yards. Williams should be owned in all formats.
Kris Adams, WR, UTEP
Two years ago, Adams was outstanding, but he disappointed last season. This year, he's already surpassed his touchdown total from 2009 thanks to a two-score game against New Mexico State.
Independents
Theo Riddick, WR, Notre Dame
Riddick didn't do much in the first two games of the season, but against Michigan State he reeled in 10 passes for 128 yards and a score. The Fighting Irish are going to toss the ball around under Brian Kelly, which means there is room for both Michael Floyd and Riddick to succeed at wide receiver.
MAC
Jordan White, WR, Western Michigan
Thanks to a few impressive games, including a 13-catch, 170-yard performance against Toledo, White is one of the leaders in receiving yardage in the nation, and the MAC schedule isn't exactly loaded with tough competition.
Ryan Radcliff, QB, Central Michigan
Radcliff hasn't found the end zone much yet, as he only has three touchdowns to two interceptions. However, he has thrown for 795 yards, and if he keeps that up the scores should follow.
MWC
Ed Wesley, RB, TCU
Surprisingly, Wesley's least impressive game thus far has been against Tennessee Tech. However, considering that he rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries against Baylor, Wesley has shown that he turns it up a notch when the stakes get higher.
Tim Jefferson, QB, Air Force
Through three games, Jefferson has already matched his rushing touchdown total from 2009, going for 193 yards and four touchdowns to start this year. He's also thrown two touchdowns. Given that even Oklahoma couldn't slow him last week, it's looking like Jefferson might be able to keep producing even against the tough defenses he faces.
Pac-10
Marquess Wilson, WR, Washington State
Wilson opened his true freshman season with 107 yards and a touchdown against Oklahoma State, but he outdid himself with 134 yards and a touchdown against SMU in Week 3. The Washington State team remains week, but Wilson is a huge bright spot.
Jonathan Franklin, RB, UCLA
Franklin burst onto the scene last week with 158 yards and three touchdowns against Houston. Will he be able to build on that game? If he can hold onto the ball, Franklin can be productive for UCLA
SEC
Warren Norman, RB, Vanderbilt
Ole Miss doesn't look like a good team this season, but that doesn't mean Norman's 111 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries should be discounted. Plus, he rushed for 68 yards on eight carries against LSU, so he can get it done against tough defenses.
Mike Gillislee, RB, Florida
Gillislee has only carried the ball 18 times through three games, but he has 118 yards and three touchdowns on those carries. Jeffrey Demps is a diminutive player, which means that there is potential for Gillislee to get the goal line carries, and thus score some touchdowns.
Sun Belt
Corey Robinson, QB, Troy
Robinson started his redshirt freshman season off on the wrong foot, but in the last two games he's thrown for five touchdowns with no interceptions, and that includes three touchdowns against Oklahoma State. Once Sun Belt play starts, he could put up some huge numbers.
Garrett Andrews, WR, Middle Tennessee
Andrews has been able to put up pretty good numbers while Dwight Dasher has been out on a suspension. However, with Dasher coming back in a few weeks, it might be a good time to pick up Andrews with hopes that his numbers improve.
WAC
Princeton McCarty, RB, Idaho
McCarty hasn't scored since the Vandals' season opener, but he's getting consistent carries and his numbers should improve once Idaho enters WAC play.
Royce Pollard, WR, Hawaii
Pollard might be Hawaii's third-best wide receiver this season, but he could still put up good numbers. Case in point, he has 18 catches for 267 yards already. His catch total is good for second on the team through three weeks.
