ACC
Johnny White, RB, North Carolina
While the Tar Heels are mired in off the field issues, they still have some good players left playing, including White. Last week against Clemson, he rushed 22 times for 89 yards and two touchdowns and had six catches for 90 yards as well.
Jermaine Thomas, RB, Florida State
Thomas' fantasy value had been limited by inconsistency before this year, but he's been on fire lately for the Seminoles. With 32 carries and four touchdowns in the past two weeks, it's possible that Thomas is pulling away in Florida State's crowded backfield.
Big 12
Detron Lewis, WR, Texas Tech
Lewis got off to a slow start this season, but last week against Baylor he caught 11 passes for 95 yards and a score. Perhaps it is a sign of things to come.
Josh Gordon, WR, Baylor
Keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't get suspended due to his recent marijuana possession arrest, but Gordon has been golden the past four weeks. In that time span, he's totaled 378 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
Big East
Moise Plancher, RB, South Florida
After not being involved much early in the season, Plancher has become a bigger part of the offense in recent weeks, including a 93-yard, two-touchdown game against Florida Atlantic two weeks ago.
Van Chew, WR, Syracuse
Chew only has two touchdowns, but he has 404 yards this season and hasn't had less than 59 yards

Van Chew, WR, Syracuse
Chew only has two touchdowns, but he has 404 yards this season and hasn't had less than 59 yards in a game. In a weak Big East, he should be able to keep up this pace, if not improve it.
Big Ten
Dan Herron, RB, Ohio State
For five weeks in a row, Herron has scored at least one touchdown, and on two occasions he has found the end zone twice in one game. At the very least, he appears to be a touchdown machine.
Rob Henry, QB, Purdue
The loss of Robert Marve has hurt the Boilermakers, but in his stead Henry has taken the reins of Purdue's offense. He hasn't done much in the passing game yet, but he's run for 299 yards and a touchdown already this season so he can clearly get it done on the ground.
Conference USA
Sam McGuffie, RB, Rice
McGuffie's running numbers aren't great, but he has at least three catches per game since the second game of the season. With weak competition on the schedule and a lot of touches, McGuffie is in position to improve on his numbers.
Cole Beasley, WR. SMU
Two weeks ago, Beasley caught eight passes for 158 yards against Rice. Last week, he had seven catches for 91 yards and a score against Tulsa. Beasley is worth owning for sure in deeper leagues, and can help out even shallow-league owners who need wideout help.
Independents
Jared Hassin, RB, Army
After starting the season with two really good games, Hassin hit a rough patch. However, last week against Tulane he rushed 25 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns, so maybe he is back on track.
MAC
Willie Geter, RB, Bowling Green
Geter had a bad game against Michigan, but aside from that Geter has played fairly well. An injury to his starting quarterback has allowed opposing defenses to stack against the run recently, but Geter is a standout as a pass-catcher, which tends to bail out his owners when the running production isn't there.
Armand Robinson, WR, Miami (OH)
Robinson's 497 yards receiving puts him among the leaders in that stat, and he's had at least 83 yards in five of his six games. There's not much upside to be had in Miami (OH)'s dink-and-dunk offense, but Robinson is consistent.
MWC
J.J. Di Luigi, RB, BYU
The Cougars are having a rough year, but you wouldn't know that from looking at Di Luigi's numbers. He's scored a touchdown in five of his six games, and he has at least three receptions in every game this season, so he's clearly a dual threat.
Matthew Tucker, RB, TCU
Tucker's scored five touchdowns this season and has 356 yards rushing thus far, and playing for the top team in the Mountain West he's probably going to be able to pad his numbers in a few games.
Pac-10
Robert Woods, WR, USC
The true freshman probably won't have another week like the last one, when he caught 12 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns against Stanford, but he's clearly the real deal. He's probably only worth picking up in deep leagues, but the rising star could have a few more big games in him.
Kerry Taylor, WR, Arizona State
Outside of Week 1, Taylor has had at least four catches in every game. He's not a bad desperation option for deep-league teams needing wideout help.
SEC
Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia
The first-year starter and former blue chip recruit has been a bright spot for the otherwise disappointing Bulldogs, as he has produced 14 total touchdowns compared to just three interceptions. His team generally doesn't throw a lot, but his ability to run (four rushing touchdowns so far) gives him a good amount of upside nonetheless.
Stephen Garcia, QB, South Carolina
With three passing touchdowns in each of the past two weeks, Garcia has played his best in the biggest games for South Carolina, and it appears that he may have turned the corner at quarterback. He has an appealing schedule for the next month, as well.
Sun Belt
Austin Davis, QB, Southern Miss
Davis has done a decent job passing the ball, with 1,205 yards passing, four touchdowns, and two interceptions, but it's his five rushing touchdowns that really gives Davis his value.
Darriet Perry, RB, Florida International
Perry's rushing yards aren't that impressive, but he has five touchdowns and his carries have increased every week. If he keeps getting the ball more, he could be a decent pickup in deep leagues.
WAC
Royce Pollard, WR, Hawaii
Pollard hasn't found the end zone much this season, but he still has 31 catches for 445 yards and, in Hawaii's offense, touchdowns are likely to find Pollard eventually.
Lennon Creer, RB, Louisiana Tech
Last week, Creer rushed 18 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns, though it should be noted those were his first two touchdowns this season. Still, with the problems the Bulldogs are having at quarterback, Creer is likely to be the focal point of their offense.
