ELEAGUE will kick off its first leg on the road to the Boston Major with a stop at the ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta this weekend. Sixteen teams will be under the Turner Studios roof for three days for the New Challenger stage of the competition, and now we know what those groups will look like.

Mountain View

The New Challenger stage will feature 16 teams that include the bottom eight from the group stage of the PGL Major Krakow as well as some fresh meat. There will be four teams in each pool and in the first round, a team from Pool One will play a best-of-one match against a randomly drawn team from Pool Four, while each team from Pool Two will play a best-of-one match against a randomly drawn team from Pool Three.

Once all teams have each played a best-of-one match, the teams will be re-grouped based on their win-loss record, and will then face a new opponent with the same record. The format will conclude when teams have earned three wins, advancing them into The Legends stage, while teams with three losses will be eliminated.
The New Challenger stage will kick off Friday, January 12 at 10am ET on as Vega Squadron will go head-to-head against Renegades.

Below you can find the initial match draws:
