MNF Player Props Week 16: Colts vs 49ers
It's about that time. Week 17 is a few days away... and somehow the regular season is almost over. SMH, went by too fast.
A couple of teams fighting for playoff berths/seedings will take center stage on Monday night. It has massive implications for the 49ers and Colts. With a lot of highlight-capable players, there are a lot of props to choose from, but I have a play ready to go for you.
Best NFL Prop Tonight: MNF Week 16
Christian McCaffrey Longest Rush O/U 11.5 yards
Christian McCaffrey has retaken his position as a fantasy juggernaut in 2025. An absolute monster year has made owners who nabbed him in the mid-to-late first round look like geniuses. A lot of us, including myself, got major PTSD in taking CMC off an injury-riddled 2024 after getting hosed by the pick in recent years.
While McCaffrey hasn't been efficient whatsoever on the ground, volume is king. Averaging just 3.7 YPC this year, CMC is still getting PLENTY of burn in the ground game this year, but even more so in recent weeks. Currently riding a three-game streak of 20+ totes, it looks like that could be the case yet again against Indy.
There are several routes we could go here with him, but one of the plays that's not first to mind would be longest rush. Despite the lack of explosive runs from a volume perspective, we all know this dude still has the ability to make gashing runs. 11.5 is a light number in my opinion.
Granted, McCaffrey is facing a defense that's allowed the sixth-fewest rush yards to RBs, but they've still yielded this number in four of the last five contests. Without DeForest Buckner, this Colts defense is not the same. If CMC gets another 20 carries, I think there's a good chance one of them goes for 12 yards. He's hit this number in three of his last six.
Pick: CMC O11.5 longest rush -114
