Top DFS Pitching and Team Stacking Strategies for DraftKings

In this article, I'm going to take a deeper dive into pitching and team stacking options. Let's take a look at our optimizer's rankings of the pitchers for the DraftKings 11-game main slate, sorted by projected fantasy points.

As we wind down the regular season, we have few star pitchers to choose from on Tuesday's slate with zero starters over $10k and only three in the $9k range. The chalky option will likely be Kevin Gausman, and deservedly so. He went eight scoreless innings in his lone matchup against the Red Sox this year and has reached 27+ DK points in three of his last four outings.

We've also highlighted Logan Webb, Bryce Miller and Sam Aldegheri in our optimizer. Miller checks in our top point-per-dollar option, although he's yet to be officially announced as the starter. Meanwhile, Webb has elite numbers this year and a matchup against a Cardinals lineup that has six players with a sub .700 OPS. Cole Ragans could be on a limited pitch count after only going 3.2 innings in his return last week. Note that Hurston Waldrep and Cristian Javier rank well in the metrics below.

Here's how each pitcher ranks in key categories (pitchers with less than 10 IP marked as N/A):
