Closer Watch

St. Louis Cardinals – I know Steve Cishek was touched upon a bit in yesterday's Lineup Card, but I just want to make sure that you're not rushing out to snag him for the last week or so of games. It's nice to see Cishek net a save, however, although we know that will be it through the end of the season.

Los Angeles Angels – While the Angels are on the outside looking in, closer Huston Street is doing his part to help the Angels find a way into the 2015 playoffs. He locked down the save on Wednesday, nabbing his 40th save of the year even if he did give up a run in the process. Still, 40 saves is nothing to ignore.

Mikie Mahtook, OF, Tampa Bay Rays – Sure, Mahtook saw his numbers rise like crazy after a 5-for-5 day last week against the Orioles, and he has certainly slowed some, but Mahtook should get steady full-time at-bats down the stretch over the last week and a half of the season. Mahtook is worth a grab if you need the outfield help, mainly needing a body to fill out your lineup due to injury situations. Mahtook is hitting .301 to this point.
