Elite Players
Guards
Jalen Brunson, Knicks
($9,400) at Pelicans
Brunson has been on fire this month and will look to remain hot in a favorable matchup against the Pelicans, who rank 27th in the league in defensive rating (118.8). The star point guard has notched 41.5-plus DK points in 10 straight games, during which he has averaged 32.6 points, 6.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 37.0 minutes per contest.
Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves
($9,300) at Bulls
Edwards has played in five consecutive contests following a three-game absence due to a right foot issue, racking up at least 40.5 DK points in each of them. During that stretch, he has averaged 32.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.0 combined steals-plus-blocks per game.
Forwards/Centers
Kevin Durant, Rockets
($8,800) vs. Pacers
Durant has generated 45.0 or more DK points in six of his last seven appearances and will look to remain hot in a favorable matchup against the Pacers. The superstar has been extremely productive of late, and over that seven-game stretch, he has averaged 27.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.0 blocks per tilt while recording shooting splits of 57.3/55.3/91.3.
Victor Wembanyama, Spurs
($10,000) vs. Cavaliers
After coming off the bench in six straight regular-season outings following a 12-game absence due to a calf strain, Wembanyama started Saturday's loss to Utah and recorded 53.8 DK points. The star big man played 28 minutes in that contest and appears to be nearing a return to a full workload. Regardless, he has finished with at least 36.5 DK points in six of his last seven regular-season appearances, during which he has averaged 20.0 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.3 blocks in 22.4 minutes per game.
Michael Porter, Nets
($8,400) vs. Warriors
The Nets have won seven of their last 10 games thanks in large part to Porter's contributions. The 27-year-old forward has appeared in nine of those 10 matchups, averaging 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 33.3 minutes per tilt during that span. Additionally, he has recorded at least 40.8 DK points in each of his last four appearances.
Expected Chalk
Nikola Jokic, Nuggets
($13,000) at Heat
Jokic remains the most costly player on the board, though he's worth the price. The three-time MVP has racked up 82.8-plus DK points in back-to-back outings and at least 63.8 in four straight. Over that four-game stretch, he has averaged 33.3 points, 14.3 rebounds, 13.5 assists and 2.8 combined steals-plus-blocks per contest. With the Nuggets missing three of their regular starters, the team will need Jokic to take on more of the scoring and playmaking load yet again.
Mid-Range Money
Anthony Black, Magic
($7,100) at Raptors
The 21-year-old's salary continues to increase in the midst of a career year, and with Jalen Suggs (hip) expected to join Franz Wagner (ankle) on the sidelines yet again, Black should continue to produce at a high level. The third-year guard has recorded 27.3 or more DK points in 10 consecutive contests, and he has finished with at least 40.8 in each of his last three. During that three-game span, he has averaged 28.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 33.0 minutes per tilt.
Sandro Mamukelashvili, Raptors
($6,000) vs. Magic
With Jakob Poeltl (back) sidelined once again, Mamukelashvili figures to see significant playing time Monday. The big man has posted at least 27.0 DK points in each of his last five outings without Poeltl in the lineup, averaging 16.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals across 29.6 minutes per game in those five matchups (four starts).
Value Picks
Moussa Diabate, Hornets
($5,300) vs. Bucks
Diabate is in line to draw another start as the only center available on the 15-man roster. He has started the last two games for Charlotte, logging a double-double in both of them. The big man has finished with 34.3 or more DK points in three straight outings, averaging 9.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals across 32.3 minutes per game over that stretch.
Keldon Johnson, Spurs
($4,500) vs. Cavaliers
Johnson is coming off his best performance on the campaign in Saturday's loss to Utah, during which he recorded his third double-double and scored a season-high 27 points with De'Aaron Fox (adductor) sidelined. Even if Fox is upgraded from questionable to available Monday, Johnson should still see significant minutes, and he has supplied at least 18.3 DK points in six straight outings.
Tim Hardaway, Nuggets
($4,500) at Heat
Hardaway is likely to get the starting nod for a third consecutive contest with the Nuggets missing three of their usual starters. The veteran sharpshooter has been hot from beyond the arc of late and has scored at least 19 points in four straight games. He logged 27.5-plus DK points in each of those four outings.
