FORWARDS

Nicolas Lodeiro, SEA at MIN ($9,400): Minnesota have won four straight at home, but that doesn't mean we should ignore Lodeiro in this spot. He racks up fantasy points across multiple categories and has eclipsed 20 points in three of his last four. The Loons are still shipping goals, and this is a dream matchup for Lodeiro as long as he plays. He's been dealing with some knee pain, so there's a chance he's held off the TCF Bank Stadium turf, so be sure to confirm Lodeiro is in the starting lineup before locking him in.

Dom Dwyer, ORL vs. NE ($8,300): Dwyer has been firing off shots at a high clip, with 15 over his last three games. He's bagged a pair of goals over that span, and it's only a matter of time before he goes off for a multi-goal game.

Michael Barrios, DAL vs. SJ ($7,000): Barrios broke out of a season-long scoring slump with a 37.5-point hat trick in his last game. That could be the boost of confidence he needed to get going, and he gets a good matchup at home against San Jose to build on that performance.

MIDFIELDERS

Diego Valeri, POR v. PHI ($11,000): Valeri has scored or assisted in four of his last five outings, and with Portland missing Sebastian Blanco, he'll be carrying even more of the attacking load at home against Philadelphia. He sent in 18 crosses in his last two games, and he should continue to pile them up with Blanco out.

Romain Alessandrini, LA at COL ($8,900): Alessandrini is set to return from suspension and comes in having scored at least 16 fantasy points in four straight appearances. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic suspended, Alessandrini will be counted on even more to provide an attacking spark, and he's well-positioned to keep the production up in a strong matchup against the Rapids.

Alejandro Silva, MTL vs. DC ($5,600): Silva has quietly been fantasy relevant over the last several weeks. He took four of five corners last week, sent in eight crosses and contributed an assist for the third straight game. He's in another good spot to continue to produce at home against D.C. United.

DEFENDERS

Graham Zusi, SKC at HOU ($6,900): Zusi pumped in an eye-popping 17 crosses in his last match, marking the second time in his last three games that he's had at least 16. When you consider that we'd pay this price for a midfielder with those kind of returns, there's no reason to let the high price for a defender scare us away.

Ronald Matarrita, NYC vs. VAN ($5,800): Matarrita took two shots and sent in nine crosses in a loss at Seattle last week, and with New York City still dealing with some injuries in the attack, he could be deployed in a more advanced role again. That bodes well against a Whitecaps team that has been outscored 10-1 over their last four road games.

Jaylin Lindsey, SKC at HOU ($3,300): Lindsey has become a mainstay along the SKC backline, and the 18-year-old has shown plenty of fantasy potential since taking over as the starting left-back. He's taken four shots, sent in 10 crosses and assisted on a goal over his last three games (DAL, RBNY, TOR), and he should continue to be active on the wing at Houston.

GOALKEEPER

Sean Johnson, NYC vs. VAN ($5,700): Johnson has reeled off three consecutive clean sheets at home and hosts a Vancouver team that's been kept off the scoresheet in three of their last four on the road. If we're paying up at goalkeeper, Johnson looks like a safe bet for at least the five-point win bonus and possibly more if he can make it four straight shutouts at Yankee Stadium.
